Playing with Power E-Trade Pro right now, just installed it Anyone use this POS? So far not so good I do only because I have never looked at anything else...........been with them since 1998.................I am not happy....the charts have stopped working at 10:30-11:30 CST about 3 times in the last few weeks............I am going to look at other platforms..................curious to see what your view is on it after a few days................GL Thanks for bringing this up. I thought it was my computer or connections. I only had it for 3 months but it stopped more than a few times... Sometimes i could not bring up a certain stock aside from the stopping...

My watchlist feed isn't working, data on the charts was there at first this morning, now its not. If I had any money/margin left, I'd short the sh!t out of ETFC - they call this their premium service??!! And UK, major exalt for sharing that ITMS post on US Steel. Here's some virtual beers for ya

From www.thestreet.comWhere's the Volatility? By Timothy Collins Normally, I steer clear of an ETF or ETN such as the iPath S&P VIX Short-Term Futures ETN as it often suffers each time the underlying VIX futures contracts are rolled forward. I am not a huge fan of trading options on the VIX futures too early in the cycle, however, so if I am looking to play pure volatility in this market, the VXX has caught my attention. The most important point to recognize is that, in my opinion, going long the VXX should be for a trade, preferably short term, very short term. We are seeing the same gap up, trend sideways market action today. The vast majority of my InterETF trades are still bullish, therefore, I am looking at building a position in the VXX into Friday if the market stays at these elevates levels.

Damn Mikey you got balls!
Just read how big you're in on an X short. I started shorting it at $55 last time around and it took me forever & multiple entries to get out in the green. That short interest is so high that I'm pretty sure it's in a never-ending squeeze. Will probably go higher than $66 this time around also I'm thinking.
GL man!
(didn't mean to invade the space here, I usually just watch and don't post - y'all are too quick/good for me). Keep up the good work though!

UUP support at 23.4. It might as well fall another 0.2 to the 200dma and 50dma so we can get this over with. Intraday looking bear flaggy.
SRS and I have a long bloody history together. We're even after exchanging pounds of flesh but have agreed to steer clear of each other.

Some stocks just aren't compatible.

2 exalts coming to Mikey and UK for insane bravery. Mikey first for shorting the whizz out of a defiantly upward market. Then to UK next for leaving a loaded account unattended for a few days. Mount Rushmore could surely be carved into your collective stones.
UK, let me know if you are net short- I will then unload my underwater shorts, thereby ensuring market tankage and ensuing success for the two of you. GL everyone. Crummy

Should have looked at SPY chart earlier, we are pulling back off line from nov/dec lows.
There are 2008 lines at 113.30, 113.70
Commited to a new circle, but hard to judge the crest at this point as the rise is so sharp.

My tummy is growling. While you fellas discuss orbs of different dimensions, I'm going over to get in the lunch line.
Uka, DDSS daily 20 at 1.70 - hoping it acts like a magnet to pull it up, that would be a logical setup, then eventually boost over the 50, but has been so weak. I don't know that I can ride down .15.

On the 60m, we now have a confirmed close below the 112.7 S. That should now act as R. Below 112.5 and we are forming a second black bar on the daily (cue dramatic music here).
The watch out is that A/D is still 2:1 and 3:1 (issues and vol). Benefit of doubt goes to bulls. Tick has cycled down since the 1100 pop at 1055am. Watch for a big neg tick to indicate tute selling. The last hr yesterday was the high vol of the day, by far, and that was tute selling into strength (as also indicated by tick, which suddenly spiked into the lows of the day). Since the hod today, vol has dried up more than the usual.

Guys- excessive orbspeak will likely do little to improve the B/G ratio on this board... sure makes me laugh, though! (simple minds/ simple pleasures...)
