Not much to see here, nice day for the Dow but at the individual level not much going on. Junk continues to be junky which makes me suspicious of this move for now. BAC calls still at breakeven but I suspect Monday they'll get the hammer. Buffett really did a number on this stock, it's no better off than it was before. Surely I nailed the bullshit game on it yesterday at 8+. Poor suckers. (I'm next but my calls cost .03 or $3/contract and I trust BAC so much I bought less than 10 contracts) No other trades. Hope everyone made some money today and will do so on Monday. Members please post your results along with your RDA of smileys!

All in TZA at 47.78 (I know I know).
Was debating selling at 48.70 ~3:15 for an easy 2% but thought it was going to run lower EOD to make 4%. Oh well!
GLTA!

Today's gains undid my losses from yesterday. Rolled a hefty LVS call position into next week. Loaded up on the LVS $45s for next week in particular. Under 70 cents and only just over a buck out of the money. On the other side of the ledger I also bought September puts in VXX.

I guess I decided to go to cash after all today. Like I said my positions were soooooo small and this way I took the tiny gains and can use them as a buffer for the next time. Sold ACI at the HOD and HAL 40 cents off the high. I have not computed the percent gains but here is the thing I had 150 ACI and 50 shares of HAL! LOL so see it really made no dif what I did. I am still leary of the market. If the market really wants to run for a week I can always buy back in with real position sizes!
Oh I bought them both a couple days ago. so yeah I had "profits!" LOL....

These 400 pt swing days are causing me a great deal of pain. This was the third day in a row my stops got taken out only to have a sizable rally ensue. Yesterday, I bought FAS at 13.37 for a day scalp, set a stop 50 cents lower 12.87(3.7% lower), and what was the LOD for FAS? You guessed it...12.87. Well a similar thing happened today...oh and Weds. too.
I swear, I think there is some bot or something that has my number/IP address/ TDA informing MM as to what I'm doing...or something. No one can make that exact of a poor decision 3 days in a row. It's like they don't mind me making a little money trading, but they have a problem with me making too much money. I'm discouraged, but that's what weekends are for. Maybe they'll mess with someone else for a few weeks starting Monday.
GL everyone and have a great weekend!!!

What a week... 9 winning trades this week w/no losses, but missed out on a ton.. I've now unlost about ~80% of my 08/05/11 Short SOXL against the box over the weekend - planning on trying something new with conditional orders and see how it works out.

Amazon has them for $519. I have the equivalent grill that is 13 years old, have spent about $100 for replacement burner, flavorizer bars, etc, and cooks like new. It will sear a steak at 650-700 degs, or slow cook a pork butt at 250 deg. I steered Jack to one of these, and he hasn't thrown rocks at me yet, so I think he likes it.

Love to grill...........2 - 4 burner BBQ grills and 2 full backup propane at all times. Extra propane never an issue. Exabi............ As a restaurant/bar owner in my 13th year (UGHHH) , I've dealt with a few power outages and numerous, numerous equipment failures (mostly refrigeration). Throwing $500 to thousands in food in an instant SUCKS. Just a thought from experience......... If you live in the "Danger Zone". Plan your meals for the next 2 - 4 days, pull that food from the freezer and put it in an ice chest on 10 - 20 lbs of that ice. Save the remaining ice for cocktails or to start placing in the freezer in sealed bags after you have been out of power for 4-6 hours . Each time you open the freezer with power out raises the freezer temp thereby speeding up the thawing process and potentially costing you money. You want to minimize the # of times you open the freezer. Good luck to you. Awwwwww hell I'll shut up. You already knew this.

my grill has about had it. I'm going to start looking for another tomorrow. If you (or anyone) is looking for a nice portable grill, the "O-Grill" is highly recommended. My parents are retired and spend a lot of time on the road (RV) - they use this theirs almost daily. My Dad likes it so much he bought an extra one to be given as a prize in Wounded Warrior raffle he's organizing @ one of their RV rallies. www.o-grill.com/
