My apologies Exabi........I forgot to mention. Get some dry ice If you can at this point. Once again , best of luck to you. Be well. Cash, No apologies necessary...my only real concern is loss of power due to downed trees/power lines. No really big trees nearby, and the ground is dry....and no threat of flooding the house. I have not researched, but don't know of any dry ice sellers in my area.

I filled my propane too, it was empty. my grill has about had it. I'm going to start looking for another tomorrow. Not sure of your budget, but take a strong look at the Weber Spirit E-310. Amazon has them for $519. I have the equivalent grill that is 13 years old, have spent about $100 for replacement burner, flavorizer bars, etc, and cooks like new. It will sear a steak at 650-700 degs, or slow cook a pork butt at 250 deg. I steered Jack to one of these, and he hasn't thrown rocks at me yet, so I think he likes it. I look at that Weber everyday (its on the other side of the sliding glass doors to the back porch) and have been a grilling fool ever since Dave turned me onto it. My best routine - Grilled Chicken breasts (skinless) 4 breasts Mix 1/3 cup olive oil, one or more squeezed lemons for their juice, 1tsp salt and 1 tsp Mrs Dash Marinate breasts in the mix for awhile. Cook on Weber at 350 baste when turning over Eat....YUMMMMMMMM!

For some reason the price of a power generator went up $100 between yest and today in the DC.....is that about the Law of Supply & DEmand or is it just some simple "gouging?"

I'm torn:
Invest in a power generator to keep the stuff in the freezer from spoiling, or
Invest in a serious chainsaw (got a dozen 100' oak trees around the house?
lol!!!

At my grocery store, a case of bottled water was 3.99 on Thursday, was 4.99 Friday. They got in a couple of pallets of d-cell batteries on Friday, selling for 8.99 a 4-pak. Smells like gouging to me. Regarding the generator, check with them about their return policy (unopened/unused) condition. I think I know the answer.
