Breadth is very strong: 16:1 pos vol on Ny, 6:1 on Nq. Issues up 5:1 Ny, 3:1 Nq. This will help nymo and nysi.
The all important follow through tomorrow.

I can't believe Spain couldn't capitalize there. They have had chances. They are playing very well.
Good job on Goog. What a day all around.

It's worth remembering that not a single pundit was optimistic (except Carl) going into today. And the price action yesterday was not bullish. And yet here we are.
All day, tick has been strong and pullbacks have been shallow. This is very bullish price action. Not sure, to be blunt, what it means for tomorrow. Too many reversals after days like these recently.

Spain is playing a US sort of game, tons of chances not getting it in. This is how you lose in soul-crushing fashion..
Thanks for the GOOG idea this morn. an exalt.

Alphatrends live at the close. It will be taped and on his site later. He had 105 as the key R to get above. Should be interesting to hear his take. He's pretty conservative so I'm sure he will be guarded.

Spain v Netherlands. Regardless of who wins, we will have a new WC champion. This is a great final match up. Take your bets.

Spain!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Great match - going into today I would've thought Germany for SURE takes it home. But it makes my Spainish championship prediction look better at least!

I thought Germany would dominate but wow spain played a great game and they officially own Germany as they've been them 3 times in a row now.
It will be a great final NL vs SP.. Both have quality wins with NL beating Brazil and SP beating GER.

Alphatrends - still skeptical. Daily/weekly MAs in downtrend, still lower Ls and Hs. . Advises not to chase this rally. Today, we went long when price held above the vwap (this is his d/t model, apparently). Spy S is now 104.8 and he's looking for a possible move to 107 (50% fib). His basic l/t approach is to get intermediate term long when the 5dma is trending up and to get long term long when the 200dma is trending up. He doesn't like candle patterns or MA crossovers.

I'll take NL. They're the underdog. I'll be happy with either winning, however. Spain played its best game today; I wonder if they can put together another one. Germany clearly played their best game against Argentina.
