Hmmm... big up day, I figured any up days would be modest against the selling pressure. I still have to think the bulls are wrong here... this move down just doesn't feel like enough to get us too much higher. If you figure the last move to 1250 or so got us another 20 points on the topside of SPX 1354... then you have to believe that a much deeper move is in front of us if we're going to get over the current 1370 resistance.
So I'm going to say down, again, for a while, until DRN is dropping and it feels like it will never, ever, stop.

the week of doom wasn't nearly as doomy as i was expecting - fridays seem to be on the slow side most the time this year, but still feeling pretty doomy. a capitulation is coming - from there i expect us to bounce really strongly and make it seem like the bulls are still going to win... they won't, but it will look like it for a little while- just like the initial move off the Japanese crisis

Lots of folks predicting big capitulation on June 13-14, then move up...No opinion for tomorrow in that case.

I heard from him off-line and responded but haven't heard from him again...I hope he comes back someday. I fail to see, and fail to foresee, how the current strategy being employed is useful. Of all the ineffective mechanisms available in the modern digital domain, the Facebook-style 'Unfriend' treatment will be tagged in the annals of history as the Least Useful. Jack and I were emailing a few days back and he said to me, in essence - referring to some of the things going on in Fastopia these days - "Why be worried trying to fix something when you can't even truly know what's broken?" Jack is right.

Personally - it is the market crushing people that drives people away IMO... the bickering plays a role, but it typically gets caused by one or more of the people arguing being on the wrong side of the market which causes increased animosity
I know it was some of the spats with me that drove DM away - but I don't think it that is nearly enough to keep someone away for good. Not everyone is going to agree, and at least for me I try to never get personal with people
