Looking at the action today, would NOT be surprised if we have another modestly down day, but I'm going with my gut which says... Baby Bull!

I went with my brain instead of my gut last night, and subsequently ended my streak. Thought baby bear but since it was Monday, I could not vote bearish, so went Bull.
Tomorrow I will go with Baby Bear but hope that Bull plays out instead since I'm long biased.

Gonna guess bullish for tomorrow ...
Schiller home price index and consumer confidence data in the morning. I would guess that both are due for a bounce. Recently, the market has been ignoring economic data for few reasons, and this should change soon.

I'll stay bullish as long as both these green trend lines stay bullish. Attachments:

I'll stay bullish as long as both these green trend lines stay bullish. Hey Clinton, good to see ya! Is that from freestockcharts? How did you embed it?

Actually I just create a jpg and attach it. How do you get the .jpg? I see where you can export the link, but never saw that it could export a jpg. Do you have a membership there?

SPY shows good support above my purple trend line and OBV showed a nice rush of accumulation just after the profit taking at the close. Good chance for bulls tomorrow Attachments:

I have to go with growling BEAR for tomorrow with possibly a Bull call for Wednesday (after Bernake speaks - unless something changes). In looking at the 6 month charts, I think we are stuck in a range. I think we are close to the upper end of that range (1110 - 1120 weighted) and the lower end of that range being 1040. Note: I don't think we will reapproach the highs set in January for a while (maybe 3 to 6 months or even longer). For now its the range, until we get a game changer...
Good Luck everyone,

I will have to go BULL again...
I see many things at breakout and or resistance levels. I think the markets will do a short consolidation here before running for new highs BUT the bulls are not going to just roll over here. I see a breakout and squeeze first THEN we drop back and consolidate before the run...

I'm wondering, what do you think, if when I set up the categories I give a Dow range. People will no doubt define Bulllish and Baby Bull different.
I think 50 points on the Dow is a fair range... so Baby Bull is Dow closes positive up to 50. Anything over 50 is Bullish.
Reverse is true for Baby Bear and Bearish...

I think Spx has a little more upside left, sometime this week. DX needs to consolidate a bit more after those gains. My concern is that some of the financials finally hit their 50dma today and then sold off, and HD (which reports in the am) looks set to sell on any news. Head says up, gut says down.
