I'm tempted to vote not sure, but I'm never wishy-washy...
VIX stayed positive... dollar stayed positive... no traction today...everyone awaiting the FED news. Futures down a little, but it's still early.
Like yesterday, gotta crack that 1130 area, then we'll see 1150 next. If not, I think 1087.50 or so, but not in one fell swoop.
Just a really tough call, but I'm going with a run for 1030 again, then a rejection again... bear for blue.

I've been waiting 6 weeks for this! And we are right there on the cusp although not over the hump yet. We have run out of time. FOMC day: Pop and Drop? Pop and Flat? Pop and more Pop? I dunno but I do know that I really want to see that pop. 4 points is all I ask! And then you can do what you like Bull

It looks bullish to me. Bern is going to say the economy is having a rough time but is still moving forward in a positive fashion (or some other bs). I haven't been around much, have to use Leann's computer and I don't want to hog it all up. Still don't know whether to buy a new computer or fix the laptop or both Probably the latter. Still holding a miniscule amount of FAZ shares and having fun with my new concrete mixer. Making $$$$

Making $$$$ I threw my concrete mixer out a couple yrs ago (it was 50yrs old and the steel frame rusted out) but I kept the GE electric motor so in case yours burn out Rich you can have it for the price of shipping! They don't make 'em like that anymore.

Flat in the morning, and then a very short (10-30 minutes) spike up after the FOMC meeting, and then huge sell off the remainder of the day as data is digested. My guess is that SPX will close around the 1107-1108 range.
BEAR for me tomorrow.
Good luck everyone,

BIG BULL
It would appear the monoline canaries in the real estate coal mine are not only surviving but recovering profitably nicely above expectations.
Maybe we see fat dividends soon in these once guaranteed income generating investment mainstays -IF SO then I suspect big money/institutions will step all in over themselves to get em some of dat...

BIG BEAR.. lol mocking you Torrie!
I think tomorrow is the big red day that I've been waiting for. Oil back down to possible under $80 and maybe a -25 or -30 on SPX. It will be short lived though so buy the dip.
gL!
