Again, as I've suggested, re-consolidation at these levels is unnecessary. Direction must keep forward, or we lose the fib. If we lose the fib, we will sell down to the 1080 area.
It has to and must stay bullish, so baby bull.
(I don't necessarily believe it, it just must happen or else.)

It is a fine Labor day and hope everyone is having fun.
The market is a tad overbought and we received some sour news about more major Euro banks faltering and I suspect it could lead to some selling. The Bear is back? We will see; Im voting bear.

Why not 1130?

Peter Pan says QUAD-BULL again. I won't be around for the rest of the week to post my "wisdom" - going to be staying in Las Vegas for a few days. I guess my vote would remain quad-bull for the rest of the week unless we have a 200 point down day somewhere along the line.

Torre, still looking at 1125? Why not 1130? 1130 is within the domain of possibilities that comprise the 1125ish call... The "ish" provides such leeway. P.S. Check out the Charts and Chats thread -though I remain bullish we may see a wee pause here -a Euro enigma dip buying opportunity wrapped in consolidation creating a bear trap...

Bear
Obama's proposed programs will not be viewed favorably imho:
The infrastructure one is akin to the Japan's planes, trains and automobiles. It didn't do sh_t for their economy and it ain't gonna do shit for ours and I hope like hell the Repukes don't cave in again.
The $10B R&D thing (actually a program which stopped in Dec 2009) is only $1B/yr for 10yrs - that's chickenfeed and will have little to no impact on the stated purpose.
I think T4D's forecast of it heading down in the near term is now the correct one.
Only one problem with that....(I'm long).
LOL!!! GL

I wouldn't mind some pause and consolidation. I also wouldn't mind if we went up 3%.
Generally speaking, I think 'up we go' is in order. Bull

So far as I can see, we've lost the fib right here tonight via the Minis. As such, even a close green is a short I believe. Will have to check but usually there will be a second push (so back to 1105-1108) and then the rug pulls down at least to the 1080's.
