wow. okay, so we've been given the big red warning sign now.
Of course, if this is a topping process, this may be only the first step of that process (i.e., the rally that wouldn't end). There may be ups and down for several sessions to come, before the definitive move downward.
Or...we could tap 1150 in the next day or two and continue the rally.
I would opt for the former rather than the latter.
So bull.

I say Flat tomorrow +/- 5 pts on the SPX, unless something else unfolds. I say we open slightly up (maybe + 5 pts) , fall below the line (-5pts), and drift back up to 0 net change for the day.
COS - what do you think about adding a "FLAT" option under the poll choices?
Best of luck everyone,

Would you believe that my Timber bear call last night was only the 2nd time I've completely missed with it? Out of 9 tries I believe there were 7 bull days, 1 baby bull day, and 1 baby bear day... today was the first time it went full bear.
Grrr

COS - what do you think about adding a "FLAT" option under the poll choices? sowolf- It can be done, it's more a matter of me remembering. I've done the poll so many times it's almost automatic. Since we never close exactly at 0 (although it is possible), the choice of baby bull or baby bear become trickier... will we close just north or south... ;D I would also suggest that a Not Sure can count as a flat, but it's more... Not Sure.

Does that mean we're going to be up 500 points tomorrow? ;D Or actually, I suppose a "Sowolf bull" option in the poll would most likely appear Dow (0-1+)

The Anti-Torr ... boy that sounds bad.
Sounds like I didn't get to drink enough kool aid as a kid ;D
Believe it or not... I am actually long term bullish on the US (have been since the ‘87 crash), but I think we are going to be in a slump for the 10 years or so. I also suspect that we may end up being stuck in a trading range (lets say 800-1300) for a much longer term than most people suspect. Americans are always looking for the quick fix (myself included), and I think we are going to have to learn to be patient (and work harder) this time round.
Best,
sowolf-
