Iit takes some time grow comfortable navigating the site. The more you use the expanded features, the more navigation makes sense and becomes more simple.
Browsers Supported: Internet Explorer Firefox Chrome Opera Safari (90%)
Multiple Browser Sessions: Supported with all browsers listed
When we have a lot of activity and people are posting on a lot of different threads, I usually rest at the Main page. I hit my refresh button there and see updates to the various forums and also in the Info Center box.
When I want to see what's been said, I click on the View the 50 most recent posts of this forum link.
I often comment directly from there... but what will happen is after you post your comment, you'll wind up back on your comment in that particular thread. You can use your Back button to go back, but I often find it easier to scroll to the top of the screen and click the link on the top left taking me directly back to Town Square.
Also, use bookmarks to watch particular threads, and use your "Mark All Read" button to remove the "new" message in a forum where you've read all the messages via Recent 50.

Nevermind...found the IE "Refresh" icon (Up/Dn) arrows in square box at top of page. Problem is that Proboards' takes 4-5secs to boot it up...drag.

Couldn't see where to start a new thread in this section, hope it's OK to post a q in this one.
In regard to private messages, is there a way to see your PM outbox, as opposed to your Inbox. I.e. I wanted to check to see if what I just said was beautifully written or completely confusing lol.

Yes Tender,
In the PM area, there are several options next to the "New PM". One is Outbox.

Wow you are quick Cos. Ah, it's obvious when you know to look in the colored bar, I couldn't see all those choices there in that tiny font (on this PC) when staring at it lol. Thanks much.

Jack,
The only way to post a free stock chart that I'm aware of is to take a screen capture of it, and then trim or resize it in Microsoft Paint. (That's the fastest program to do it.)
You would press the PrintScreen button on your keyboard (usually labeled PrtScr). Then, open Paint, and do an Edit > Paste. Your printscreen should show up. After you save it (jpg, bmp, whatever format), you can post it here like any other picture using the standard ImageShack instructions.
The thing is, that site requires Silverlight, a browser add-on, to process the data to make the chart. Without Silverlight, there really isn't any graphic to post. It's similar to Java.

Jack, On Freestockcharts.com, look for the camera thingy to the right of the facebook "F". Clicking on that will take an image of the chart and write to your HD. Then you can upload thru imageshack..
