And like Patriot Coal from Torrie: -looking at intraday volume tapering off it looks like she consolidates at this level -short sellers may drive her a little lower. How the market does and EOD will be the tell. IF market conrinues bullish then I would expect an EOD run up. The 17.00ish level is a critical level to be taken out. Looking at hourly it is my opinion that IF 17.00ish level is taken out the she will see 20.00ish level in short order and retest higher 21.25ish level for possible breakout... Hourly: stockcharts.com/h-sc/ui?s=PCX&p=6... Daily: stockcharts.com/h-sc/ui?s=PCX&p=D... Weekly: stockcharts.com/h-sc/ui?s=PCX&p=W...

CVM now going ape up 20% over good RH news: good results treating rheumatoid arthritis in mice.
WARNING: This stock has a habit of exploding 15-20% and then reverts to the norm.
Disclaimer: I own some

Dividend securities (new category):
Outside of trading, everyone needs a little yield in their long account. I'm curious whether anyone else is a low beta yield seeker. I can recommend HPF, a Cef of diversified preferred shares. I bought it in the dark days of Feb last year and have held. It's a bit expensive but the current yield is about 9%, paid monthly. Buy on a market sell off.

I think if you're going to call it the "ultimate" stock list you need a lot more companies. What happened to BBY with 1.9 BILLION in cash. so on and so on........ need to expand the list.

Maybe a bit late, but SWC has been my biggest winner this year. Palladium is trading at a 2-yr. high. It's very volatile so good for swing trades, however I have held my small (damn!) position since January.

NETL should be on the watchlist because it will not go down.. I think this puppy is going back to 50 now that it was 2/1 split down to 30. They must make crack semiconductors or something..

Hi, Guys and Gals of Fastopia, I have been missing in action. Really been beaten down by the market after my massive run while trading with some ofyou here back in the old FAS board. I am back tonight (actually thought of all of you several nights before, but finally posting).
Not pumping but I want to update those of you who might be interested in picking up some cheap shares of APWR while the shares are still cheap (closed at $.62 today). What a scalping I have gotten since I have been faithfully holding and adding to my APWR position. Well, frustrated by the lack of news and info and waiting forever (it seemed) for APWR's response to the favorable outcome to their appeal not to be de-listed from NASDAQ, I decided to do some research once there was news leaked towards the end of 2011 that Spinning Star Energy LLC (approx. 19% owned by APWR) had been approved for tax abatement 11/28/11 for the Smart Wind Ranch planned in Upton County, Texas.
Well, lo and behold, I found confirmation of this in the Upton County Comptroller's Office Public Records. Also, I started investigating Texas Land Transaction Records for Upton County and found 16 documents indicating that SSE LLC has been busy and has, in fact, acquired the 30,000 acres of land mentioned previously in announcements? (instead of leasing from Univ of Texas, they now own this land for Phase I, I think there are other phases to follow).
Anyway, I want to give a heads up for my friends here to do their own DD and read what I have found in my research. Please go to the APWR YHOO MB to look at the thread I started with the results of my diligent research on SSE LLC/ APWR's activities in the US.
I think the plans for SSE LLC and APWR's business/ wind farm(s) in the USA are definitely here and finally beginning ot be launched. Do your own research. This may be a golden opportunity to get into APWR while it is still dirt cheap. As I have said to some people here, APWR is a long term investment (5-10 Years). The trend recently has been gradually up since the lows in the $.20s and $.30s. GL. I will check back in another time. Wishing you all success in trading and in life!
