As I'm sure everyone is seriously reviewing the charts for Road to Opex III, I thought I'd open a Question/Comment thread.
Ok, looking through the suggestion box, Taj has asked if we can use a shorthand for making our entries so that it will be easy for him to compile the spreadsheet.
I agree with his idea, and starting in this contest you can use the following type of entry:
tajmahal@FAS@23.02
As well as the traditional type of entry we've always been using. If you use the shorthand, all other values - # of shares [because you always purchase the maximum you can with your BB's], and remaining BB's can all be computed with formulas.
Anything else?

It would be nice at some point, but it would probably get complex with expiration, etc. (Obviously we'd only do long options - puts/calls) but maybe we can do an options oriented contest? It'd be a great way to learn different setups.

We can trade in the PreMkt, correct?
I'm assuming it has to be a stock that is liquid enough to actually have volume though...

Yes you can do a trade in Premarket IF the stock generally trades some volume.
The thing is you always BUY at the bid ask so PM spreads are generally yuck.

Yeah, it has me so worked up I said "Buy at the bid" which is clearly wrong, you "Buy at the ask"

I wanted to go CZM, but it isn't liquid enough to have been trading premkt. SOXL was but that was too high for my liking. FAS was only up 3% when I bought. Gotta love the liquidity - so many sellers didn't see this coming today!
Now will it last 3 weeks... I think it will
