Don't know if you saw this one Bros: Hey Kryptos sorry, yeah I did see it. After looking into it, I'm still not sure for the time and will have to get back to you. I know there's a time setting for the whole site, but not sure how to customize it by person (there's gotta be a way just have to find it) other than making it sysdate in the website code which I have to locate For a signature, do you mean one for your posts as an author, or for your profile itself? There is an "About Me" feature for authors where if you set it up we can click a button and have that display under your posts - check out a post by Cosmic in his blog for example. If you mean for the profile itself, there's technically no field for it just yet although we're still playing around with some things like how to display your "money makers" & "money breakers" on each person's activity screen and stuff like that. The way you can do one now is to do the "What's new, Brosin(whoever)" and post it in your profile. This has the effect of storing it for when you go to the member directory page although it won't show below each activity feed entry from you or anything like that For a Sig, I meant the thing at the bottom of the Fastopia posts, such as your "Puppet String / Umphrey's McGee" quote.

I cannot accept my invite to the Blogger Forum. No matter where I click I do not see a place to either sign up for it or accept the invite.
Again I want to stress how ssloooooowwwwww this site operates for me. Both in Safari and Chrome.
There are still way too many clicks necessary to get where one wants to go.

Check your Profile now, and also one of your posts (articles) you've made. It has it in the "About Me" section if that works?

Oh I think I see now. Kryptos initial posting is like an "article" and the rest are comments. Yep it's an article that goes into the PPDT category and also in his Kryptos Korner blog category that is in the blogger dropdown. If I add the PPDT category to the "Trader" drop down, that'd be there too. Now you'll see that "Traders" on the main nav bar has a dropdown that includes the PPDT. This will give everyone quick and easy access to that each day

That doesn't work Bros, it's a "hidden" group, does not show in the Group Directory.

Yeah but if I invited her to it, it still won't show on there?
How did the rest of you guys "accept" the invite?

Again I want to stress how ssloooooowwwwww this site operates for me. Both in Safari and Chrome. This is something I'm obsessive about as I know Doug is as well. Earlier today for example it was acting really slow for awhile but it was because the "powers that be" were in and playing with the site code and working on stuff. Generally speaking it seems to load pretty quickly most of the time. Either way though, it's a promise that this is up at the top of our priority list(s) at all time - trust me we've talked about it a million times

It was just momentary and I didn't want to be too negative, so I kept quiet for a bit. I'm sure it's going to be absolutely slamming. So let this be my last feedback for today, and my last read of this thread, because my experience so far has been rather negative, and I don't want to be negative especially. I prefer to be supportive. I just can't right now. There are a few items that I haven't yet mentioned that are based on the bigger website picture but I don't want to get into that. It's unfortunate that your experience at Rantfinance so far has been negative. Keep in mind this is a soft launch and there will be many changes over the next few weeks. Through your feedback the site will only get better.

Definitely like the way you are thinking there Commod. i think the homepage needs work. is there no way to get real time market quotes on the home page? the 20-minute delayed numbers are worthless at best, and at worse can lead to all sorts of unfortunate confusion. and right now that homepage is dominated by just two business news headliens. i can get headlines from cnbc and bloomberg, i would be coming to rant to, well, hear some rants, not get mass business media news. DM I agree. I am going to write and article later today and post to the headline. I am trying to write more from a "Rant" type prospective instead of just regurgitating a news headline with different wording. As well, me living in the SF area, I would think it possible to actually get some interviews 1st hand from influential business leaders and analysts in this area. These types of stories I think will make RANT stand out from say Yahoo or Bloomberg. To piggy back as well on what Maxi was saying. I did mention to Cos and Bros that the change would be the toughest fight as many people, including myself, are resistant to change especially once you are dialed in to a certain way or process. Change involves added time and learning of the new way, which lets face it, many don't want to deal with.
