Just pulled up finviz, and stunned to see the gold tankage. I mean, the dollar is up a lot today, but not enough to warrant a 5%+ gold drop

djt 2 day close below the 50 fwiw. And THAT's otherwise known as...."confirmation," right? yes in theory. But a bearish confirm candle with a tail makes me hesitant. I would treat as bearish but still almost neutral. Todays spinning top = lack of direction JM2P

Todays spinning top = lack of direction JM2P i agree but for different reasons. es is right at the bottom of that long term trend line so it could easily go either way at this point...

i tried to nab spy calls on that big dip ah but got nothin... Was it because of timing, or lack of supply?

i tried to nab spy calls on that big dip ah but got nothin... Was it because of timing, or lack of supply? Option prices in TDA's Command Center froze for one. I had some spy puts I wanted to dump on the tag of the es trend line so I frantically got rid of those on a blind limit sell. Two, by the time I could look at calls, they started moving up and were above the trend line. SPY options only trade until 4:15 and I only had a couple minutes to try and "nab" something. The spreads sometimes start to widen as it gets closer to 4:15 as well so that made it a little more difficult. I didn't want to chase so I put an order in below bid and it never hit.
