I have to believe they would try the n/l, at least for a pretend break to gather in some shorts, mebe afraid of avalanche if they do.

I have to believe they would try the n/l, at least for a pretend break to gather in some shorts, mebe afraid of avalanche if they do. They don't need to draw in shorts when there is an endless supply of willing buyers every afternoon. Thus, they can avoid the risk of your avalanche theory.

crumb, there may not be any snow in MN, but an avalanche is coming. I still think 2/27 was the start, just taking its time to roll over. A huge blast up and topping tail would be great.

Yes you're spot on (as usual). Tops are processes, are they not? It will be interesting to see what the price action looks like when it really starts moving down in earnest. I fear for those who will give back much of their gains from the last two months, believing the dip is going to get bought any minute. Was it the movie "Stand By Me" that had that awesome Barf-O-Rama scene?

We got a fresh couple inches of slush overnight.............. ask, do you remember a winter with so little snow. I remember one when I was pretty young because ski resorts almost went out of business. No I do not................normally I would be very happy about it but having a puppy that jumps around like a kangaroo I have not been overjoyed by the 4 months of spring we have had and the new giant mud puddle that used to be my back yard..............also we really are going to have some problems because of the lack of precipitation if things don't change soon.............March historically is the snowiest month and with the High School Hockey tournament just around the corner that always seems to be good for a good blast of snow................

so the bernank says he's not printing and the market believes him and yet every central bank has an inflation target of 2% Ron Paul To Ben Bernanke: "People Lose Trust In The Government Because You Lie To Them About Inflation"Submitted by Tyler Durden on 02/29/2012 11:29 -0500 Ben Bernanke Ben Bernanke Ron Paul Anytime Ron Paul sits across from Ben Bernanke you know sparks will fly. Sure enough, they did: starting 3 mins 50 seconds into the clip below, Ron Paul, guns blazing, asks the Chairman if he does his own shopping, if he is aware of what true inflation is, and if he knows that Americans don't trust the government because they are being lied to about inflation. And it only gets better, once Paul starts brandishing a silver coin. The punchline: "The Fed will self-destruct anyway when the money is gone" - amen. And ironically letting the Fed keep on doing what it is doing will achieve that in the fastest possible way. In fact, letting the system cannibalize itself with no further hindrances may be the best option currently available - just go to town.

That would be a (nearly) sure thing. The other possibility I have considered is when we sell the close with authority. So far, careful steps have been taken to prevent either scenario, thus allowing the endless melt up. I don't think an overnight tape bomb would do it. The sharp drops at the open have too many buyers falling all over themselves to BTD.
