Officially I have to be more bullish and suggest dip buying. This is because we've easily hit the 3 days above 1300 that I said we needed to have. Secretly I am worried about a downside move, and all of you who just rolled your eyes and said "Cos is doomy again" well you're right, and I have been for quite a while. What I cannot seem to do is wrap my head around POMO and whether there is tremendous market distortion. Looking at the FFR I have to now think we've bottomed here and should either see more pause or a turn upward. The fact that FFR is stagnant means banks are not lending much to each other and there's little 'risk' in the air. So I will look to add longs on pullbacks and even now that appear to still be beaten down. There are a few names out there for sure... But please stay away from the junk stuff or use stops. NEPH is .02. DDSS is .50. These were all good junk plays at one time. No trades today. Hope everyone made some money today and will do so tomorrow. Members, please post your results along with your RDA of smileys!

Still holding HAL and LVS. The idea of buying anything else makes me a bit sick but I may buy HK and MTW or POT. This market is a bit much even for a Bull. My watchlist equites are so green it is sort of scary. But have not done enuf DD on most of them to figure out what is going on.

Short LDK, CLWR, SVNT puts, SVNT and MCP calls, and long SVNT stock. Everything worked for me today, except the short SVNT calls.
I'm particularly happy with the short weekly MCP 60 and 65 calls. I sold them yesterday near market close for 1.65/sh and 0.40/sh, and today they closed at 1.15/sh and 0.20/sh. Go team theta!

Closed out an LVS scalp. Bought back some short weekly $42 puts and replaced with short April $42 puts. Overall up about 1.5% of portfolio value today. Makes it a nice day except for my dog who is now out of surgery but is still bleeding. The vet is now thinking that the pellets were an old injury (from before we got him I guess - if not then we still have neighbor problems) as the pellet had not actually pierced the small intestine. The vet also found a cyst on his intestine - research continues but it seems to me that the pellet might have led to the cyst - not being medically trained I'm not sure.

Thanks Jack. ;D Hows that TDA? You like it? Joe - Arguably the best trading platform (Thinkorswim) out there and now I can get a 10min chart unlike Eturd. And the fact that they've awarded me a free months-worth of trades ($2K req'd to open an acct to get that) has absolutely nuthin' to do w/ that impression.

I still use Command Center 2.0 mostly. Right now, I have a pile of 5 level IIs, three charts, two watch lists, one index list and an option chain.
I used to like Options 360 because you could graph historical option values against the price of the underlying stock on two separate scales. You can create a study in TOS that plots historical option values against the price of the underlying, but its awkward and you can't get different scales.
I like the position analysis component in TOS though, where you can graph the cumulative position value for a combination of actual and hypothetical options and the underlying stock.
Basically, I feel like TOS has everything including the kitchen sink, but I never need most of that stuff.

Long TNA this morning at 85.79. Up 1.42 pts, but decided to hold on rather than sell, the uptrend looks strong. HK's video says we have more to this move up. Read somewhere about sector rotation - out of gold, possibly into tech.
