almost useless 51/49 IMO
The only thing that has a function is the neckline all else should be ignored

It can be useful.. it has to be properly formed and have a long duration.. like over a few weeks or months.. a few days, or hours usually does not make a reliable head and shoulders..
logically and psychologically tho it makes some sense .. people say ooh its going up.. ok buy makes a shoulder.. then waiting hrm.. people buy more making a head.. then something spooks the stock or profit taking ensues until the other shoulder (previous resistance) becomes support, until people just decide or the momentum lends to selling pressure.. something like that.
