For all the talk of whether or not lending is tight or loose, I'm interested to see what kind of real world examples we have here. I've heard stories suggesting both; my own experiences are that credit is fairly loose in that I get CC offers in the mail all the time. I recently applied through my Credit Union to open up a new card, and was approved although for less than I tried to get. It was more to see how hard it would be than anything else..

i dont believe in credit anymore....i rather use the money to make me money......i have a super credit rating though

I bought 2 new cars on New Year's eve. Both 100% financed by Honda 5 year term one at 0% the other at 1.9%. Only thing they needed was my credit rating via my SS#.

My credit lines were extended on 2 of my credit cards, without me asking and I dont have a job!

So whats up with that eh, besides Xmas cheer

I get CC offers in the mail every day............and many of the same kind...........I just rip them apart and toss them................

Herceg, you should probably shred those offers. Lest some punk come and go through your trash and steal your identity.

I tear them up pretty good.............not to mention they are stashed nicely between many dirty diapers......
