Baby bull perhaps for tomorrow again. Market seems to be consuming the supply overhang.
Or at least someone is.

There is no way that the skeptics got into the market on the very small dip today. And at the end of the day, they saw the market running even further away from them. Train has already left the station I think - it will be the ones that jump on to the back of the moving train that will be the smart ones (contrary to what probably 99% are thinking). So... Big huge Grey Poupon Sloop Bull! And for some reason, Sloop Bull just ends up sounding like a

If I keep calling QuadBull and we get tiny downs or small ups I'm just as happy as if we get a big up. Peter Panic still flies toward 12.000 Dow by elections.

All cash in trading account going into tomorrow. Philly Fed Survey concerns me. If you recall, last report (8/19) sent us lower to a retest of 1040 lows. Will take a position after report.
Baby Bear for now although SP1140, 1150 are right around the corner

I backed out to look at the daily chart for some butterfly action. Sitting RIGHT at a triple top (means alot of short fuel) from the beginning of a potential butterfly formation being formed on 6/21 - 1160-1175 ( butterfly says........1160-1197 ) is my current target before we get any meaningful retrace. FWIW - business activity has picked up decently in the DC metro area - we call it a seasonal thing with vacays over and the uptick associated with getting back to business.

I'm going BIG BEAR! We're at the top of the range and it's going to take more than a fair report to break through.... I predict a jobs report WORSE than expected because 9 states last week did not report (including Cali) and the numbers were "estimated" by the GOV. Now what side do you think the error was on? I also predict that the numbers from last week will be revised WORSE... and the manufacturing and retail data so far has been fair to middlin, even with Back to School purchasing... and you're gonna buy what your kid needs regardless, right? Obviously I might eat these words, but Asia is down, futures are down... and I can't see where the good data is going to come from... even steven data is NOT going to be good enough to break through... see you at 5:30PST!
Good Luck!

good point on the reports, tfk. I'd buy any dip they give me tomorrow and envision a 3 day pump job to gets us above the "fray".

Yeah you guys make me laugh constantly too - mainly in that I'd think I'd get a little more respect from you guys. You fall for the same crap every time and nothing ever changes. I constantly consider whether it is even worth wasting my breath.
