Jack, where's the Vix top channel line right now? 23.20 If you mean the top channel line as drawn from July 1 the value would be 24ish

Yen - on daily, higher H and L so far. Holding the horizontal and diagonal trend lines. Trend is up. Definitely at a test point here today. Would like to see a close <114. On 60', lower H and L. Perhaps the start of a trend change. Piercing trend bottom today. 114 is again key. Uploaded with ImageShack.us

JPY is a run to safety, like USTs. It doesn't work perfectly, of course, but neither do USTs. The Yen ran up during 2008 as equities got smoked; they were positively correlated from 04/09 to 12/09. Since 04/10, they have been neg correlated.
