Hi Maxine! I'm enjoying you're analysis. You're right on it. I've been saying to watch treasuries and as it is the sign of what's going on. 30 yr auction is today I believe as well no? Anyway, keep it up, you're providing some great stuff. Look at TLT inverse TBT as well. Hitting LOD now and approaching key $36 dollar level.

Ok on the 10, the symmetrical seems to have broken out, may pull back but would use the top of triangle as support, maybe whiffle down a little with it.
Gonna play some Command and Conquer. Victory to Fastopia!

A very low tick combined with a daily PP # or MA is a high probability d/t imo. Today, we are off to 9:1 down day, so don't expect much but the thing is, you never know, and its opex, so anything can happen. You'll be able to get a b/e stop set on the bounce and you can take it from there. Worst case you are out flat today. Just my two cents. A lesson I have learned the hard way. I'm still learning it. You never know where it will go s-t. So play the odds. Today could have gone anywhere but this was a good probability entry and the downside was b/e. Luckily, it worked out. This is how I use the tick/PPDT data, fwiw. tick now pushing + 11501200, so I'm on alert for weakness below 109. Breadth is still on the neg side for today.

109 was the key level on intraday, imo. Back above. I see most back above their vwaps; so, longs are in the money, shorts are out of the money.
On daily, most of my watchlist continues to hold above their 20dma. If they hold, many of those will slope pos, like GS, JPM and EEM. Let's let Mr Market tell us.
TNX is the big concern, still.

Like my dad says, no one knows nothin'. blogs.wsj.com/deals/2010/07/14/mean-street-summer-rally-makes-a-fool-of-wall-street/You may not love the stock market, but you have to love how it can make a fool out of just about anyone. Take investment guru Barton Biggs who apparently dumped half of his $1.4 billion Traxis Fund’s “bullish bets” between June 29 and July 3, the very worst time to be selling stocks so far this year. I think this was the reason I cancelled my sub to Barrons.

Okay...who's taking bets on whether Mr Market will go up or down once the FinReg Law is passed supposedly this aft?
My sense is that it will have a positive effect not unlike the Healthcare Bill abortion (pardon the expression to those sensitive here) because it dispelled uncertainty.

Eliminating the uncertain almost always* works to the advantage of any given sector. *(Offer not valid during flash crash or OPEX week)

VIX is descending generally but currently on a mini-uptrend...Euro approaching hod again...xlf & SPY macds negative on the 1min...and FAS is now @ the 50ema...
Pipe in hand in a Norman Rockwell ponderance he weighs the options and decides on an Almond Cluster instead of a Snickers...
