Roubini
Why do we as Americans place more credence into those with foreign accents? I find this to be true here in economics, the sciences and the arts.
And the funny thing is that when you are in a foreign country, they listen carefully to what Americans say.

Ha so classic. He comes on and markets tank. Does he have to give a speech every 3 days?? Actually it was in the process of tanking before he started talking. It rever4sed course a little when he spoke. His press conf merely delayed the inevitable move to a gap close of some sort. And pls do NOT interpret this in any way that I like the guy & his policies - LOL

zerohedge is very po'ed today. The world needs to stop rotating, damn it. Ritholtz interview here; I thought this was interesting as he notes the excessive bearish sentiment last week as a signal to go long (remember that crap with Tony Robbins?) but brings up the trading range (which is almost starting to be a mainstream perspective and therefore ready to be proven wrong) - dlvr.it/4fd1QWhere is Dual these days? My Opex spreadsheet is not working properly - SOXL is no longer leading. Must be something wrong.

Good morning everyone! Thanks again for all of the great info! I think it was Dave Harrit that once taught me that poor data can damage an overall trend for a period of time but that trend will resume...the amount of time necessary to digest this data depends on the importance. It was a greT lesson and I believe it important here... What I'm clueless about today is how much selling before the long weekend will take place... If we hold up here; and the data next week is pretty tame.... Perhaps the selling will be limited and the trend continues thru Weds...or so. The following week is quad witching and data intense followed by FOMC the next week. If we get a bullish run to the high of the channel, it's logically got to be this week and next... It's just my little playbook and today's action is key IMO We have been holding a trend line on my chart for fas for the past 3 days including today so far. When I come back I'll post that chart. Vest of luck to all! Would love to hear ant similar or opposing viewpoints as I'm learning. I'll be around for a few here. I hope everyone has a great 3-day weekend
