In another sign that individual investors have soured on the market, this week's bullish sentiment reading from the American Association of Individual Investors reached its lowest levels since the depths of the bear market in March 2009. As shown below, the reading is currently down at 20.7%. Bearishness is definitely not the contrarian view at the moment. www.bespokeinvest.com/thinkbig/2010/8/27/bullish-sentiment-drops-to-lowest-levels-since-march-2009.htmlEveryone bearish as we hit major support and bonds print a weekly topping candle with copper in a strong uptrend. I would call this a very fat pitch. jmo

SPY 106.7 or so resistance coming up next. Also the 50hma. Anyone still awake? fsc.bz/6E2 Mr Tick back at +1300 right here. 106 was the level on TLT that Steven Place was looking for as a break of the uptrend. Got it. I still don't expect bonds to roll over easily; a lot of momentum behind it and therefore dip buyers.

Call me crazy, but I think we will have a barn burner of an afternoon. As long as its not 300+ on the dow, I'm all for it.

With regards to Steven Place he was also looking for the "oh sh*t" moment which I don't know if that happened but I guess one could make the case that it happened this morning.

S Place said there was no 'oh sh*t' moment this morning and that made him think we'd have a ripper today. He was on stocktwits.tv during the morning craporama.
My sis is in Austin. 20 years later she still can't get used to the summer heat.

My sis is in Austin. 20 years later she still can't get used to the summer heat. It cooled off the past 3 days to like 90 but we had triple digits for like 20-25 straight days.. With the humidity its a beating, I just thank goodness I'm not playing any sports outside in it anymore

This oughta be fun, come on FASsie, let's make a new high.
This is a strange, albeit relatively stable version of The Chart Inverse(tm to the commish).
Which would mean we'd close at the HOD on XLF/FAS...

Banks aren’t prepared for a double-dip in housing, which “it looks like we are having,” Meredith Whitney says, and they'll need more capital to withstand it. The economy is reacting from “chronic structural problems” including high unemployment that are unlikely to be addressed through monetary policy, she adds.
