If aapl stays above this $310 we should see a run higher into close as all the people that are short the Oct $310 call will have to buy stock to cover those options. Look like heavy buying into close Personally don't know why you would do that as transactions costs are double (buying stock, then getting stock assigned).. Why not just close open option positions..

Looking ahead towards next week my big question is, is this a dollar bottoming pattern or will it continue to get pounded?? As I am net long FCX I would like to see copper continue towards $4 as it looks to be doing.. After 3.8 not much resistance until 4. I am expecting the USD to catch a bid here soon FWIW.................GL

FCX interesting action on the $125 November call strike... over 4000 contracts traded today on 259 open interest.. could be rolling strikes forward but that's way OTM and no volume on 115 and 120...

Sold the spy $116 calls for 33%, the $118s expired worthless. Still made a good 10% on that portion in addition to the 25% on the $118s sold at the open.
Helps me make up most of the shallacking I took on the $116 puts as a hedge a few days back (-52% on big position)

Just my theory. It isn't based on nothing. All I know is that it worked and the stock went up so thats good.
