Cosmic asked me to provide the Wrap in his absence this afternoon since he is not sure when he will be back. This is only the 2nd Wrap Cosmic has missed since April 2009, which I think many of us - including myself - sometimes take for granted. As I know a few people have mentioned, 1104 spx was a key level - we did not get through it today and closed below the 1100 mark. I for one am pleased that we saw some consolidation over the past 2 days rather than big moves. It seems to indicate the market is feeling things out; this is healthy I would argue. My FAS is now green for the 4th close in a row in real life I made a few trades in my new Scalp Trade Porfolio Simulation to finish up exactly 1% on day 1 of the simulation. Day 2 of the Big Cap Growth Portfolio ended with it up .7% Hope everyone made some money and will do so tomorrow. Members, please post your results along with your RDA of smileys!

I shorted some FAZ 2012 39 Calls on 8/25/10 at $4.70 and covered them today for $3.00. I still think FAZ will probably see $12.50-$13.50 some time this month, but pigs get fat, hogs get slaughtered.
Meanwhile, I'm still taking a bath on some HPQ short puts I sold back when HPQ was at 42. Downgrade by UBS today is probably responsible for the 3% decline in HPQ. Oh well. I can always keep rolling them over until HP bounces.

I did it again. Holding LVS calls overnight. I bought 10 initially and then 20 when it dipped. Failed to perform the planned exit at just above break even territory and now will have to exit with a nice profit tomorrow! ;D ...I Hope (boo hisss) Down about 150.. but i strongly believe the trend up will continue..

Ask is not here, but I was wondering WTF is a pluot...sold 10 PCX SEP 12 covered calls, trying to get a little revenue from my PCX at 11.52. Pluot is a mix between a plum and an apricot.

Thx Comm, Can't stand apricots, plums are OK, I'll pass. 70% plum 30% apricots.. you might like them... The strangely named pluot is a hybrid of the plum and the apricot. The actual ratio works out at about 70% plum and 30% apricot. The pluot is extremely sweet; this is because it has a very high sugar level. Although pluots are a cross breed they mainly look like plums. www.wisegeek.com/what-are-pluots.htm

I'll give them a try....question - when you dry a plum, you get a prune - what do you get get when you dry a pluot? A prute?

Still holding AKS, feelin' good because the MOMO is still there. YRCW made a move for me as well. ARNA trade still in break-even zone.
