I missed a lot of today's session - overslept and then preparing for a second date which I'm very excited about. These date things are rare occurrences, so I don't take them lightly. ;D No trades. I did not clear profits and feel even riskier than ever here... so the snake gets to take another jab at me on Monday. I hope everyone made some money today and will do so on Monday. Members, please post your results along with your RDA of smileys!

You mean Tuesday, Cosmic? Should've listened to Oscar (sold FAS on wednesday), and even bought TZA today at 31.80, which I stupidly held. I am indeed a temporary bear pissing my pants I hope there's a dip Tuesday so I can get out, maybe even hold a couple days if negative sentiment seems strong. Grats jn1520 with the good pick on EXEL

Cos, Today actually played out like I thought it would yesterday. The employment caught alot of bears off guard and I got to book 8.5% in gains. Before the eot, I jumped short bgz and faz, traders ought to have a hangover come tuesday.
Cos, I bet there is alot of hotties in beautiful sunny Florida, eh? I hope you have a great time this weekend. TRADERS, I wish everyone a very happy and safe Labor day weekend. We are fortunate to live in the great US of A. (and for T4D Canada Rocks!) All the best!

Executed 3 FAS scalps today after the open...made a whooping $60 after the commissions are taken out and that doesn't include Mr IRS. Someone remind me why I'm here.
LOL!!!

S. Florida is great, but it's rare to meet someone for a 2nd date. Yehhh...I used to be like that: Love 'em & leave 'em...a heavy cross to bear but somebody's gotta do it. LOL!!! ;D (Yer lucky you're not in Texas - they'd rope and hogtie you!)

LOL!!! : ) For the love of the game? A move to weekly options possibly?? ;D ;D I sold my TBT 33 calls for 97% gain in the AM Then the rest of the day I put aggressive risk reversal/call spreads (sold puts and bought call spreads I don't know what you call this blended risk reversal spread??) on BIDU (can't help myself even though I hate using options on the ones that have weeklys), X, APKT, and ISRG.

Overall a good day. Account is 38% invested. I saw a unrealized gain in the account of 19%.
Sold my spy hedge for 90% loss.
Bought AAPL $250 weekly calls on pull back for $5.25 and sold for $6.85. Apple was at $256.80 I believe. And sure enough it runs up the rest of the day. I made 30 % but could have made 63% if I would have held.
Its cool though because they expired today and those things have a tendancy to kill you on the last day (They drop fast) so its nice to take a profit when you have one.
HOLDING LONG aapl 240 sep 10 C bac 12 sep 10 C bac 12.5 jan 12 C crus 17.5 sep 10 C (added to today)
spy 110 sep 10 WK1 P New addition as hedge $1.02 (100% loss. They don't call it a hedge for nothing)

Lost about $800 because I didn't follow my own stinking rules again... I would usually have held over the weekend, but with the Holiday and Obama talking about new ideas he's going to roll out next week.... who knows where this crap is gonna go... all cash now
I still think that we were throwing around the dead cat today and I can really see no GOOD reason for things going bull. We're still losing NET jobs every month but just because it wasn't as bad as we thought... things are alright? We'll see what happens next week!
Have a great holiday weekend everyone!

That's cool. At least I won't be on my own Monday night/Tuesday morning.
And there might be some other shorties out there.
I thought 1100 would be it. Then it hit 1105. worrysome.
