We have a large green candle, and we did close again over 1101, however the sequential still marked today as non-confirming on Green Arrow, so no new plays. MPG ran another .10 today, and I missed out because the mechanical trade said I had to sell. I'm not toooooo upset, but geesh - it figures. It kept topping at 3.13 when some hedgie on the EDGX exchange would drop a large chunk of shares to sell, and MPG would always retreat. Today they did it and it advanced a little on them. Oh well. Maybe I chase if it falls back a bit. Still sitting on stinky LVS puts hoping that side of the trade breaks even. Also added some calls as a hedge to re-hedge the position... they lost some traction today and the puts barely gained so another whiffle. As for our new member, I think until all the chips are in, we are rushing to judgement. Everyone communicates a little differently, and I haven't read everything yet to confirm spam. Hope everyone made some money today and will do so on Monday. Members, please post your results along with your RDA of smileys!

well, swing trading seems dead, so I needed to try something else. Will play the 10min and hour stoch. My research has lead me to the conclusion the fed is putting a floor under stocks and the euro. I sold my faz on the gap down and rode fas on the way up. Holding FAS for Monday. Should get a gap up and Ill probably dump it. rinse and repeat.

Zero day for me - down a tiny amount. Sold some more LVS Aug puts. My wife tells me I'm driving her to drink - and she's right! We're going out to a wine tasting.

I had a pretty good week. Portfolio up 20% mostly by trading aapl weekly calls.
My portfolio would have been up 55% if I wouldn't have made some bad trades.
The killer to my performance was buying $260 weekly calls for $3 at yesterdays open and not getting out yesterday. Lost a large percentage on that trade. The other bad trade was buying GS $250 weekly calls for $3 at EOD yesterday and not selling them this morning.

Learned some important leasons this week.
1.) Being hand tied because of possible patterned day trader status and only having 3 day trades a week sucks
2.) I have to time my trades with percision since I only get one shot a day or 3 shots a week
3.)When trading weekly's and the stock doesn't do what you though it was going to do GET OUT
4.)It is better trading ITM weekly calls for aapl stock I.E. $250's
5.) I am much better at seeing daily bottoms and reversal bottoms than tops. I will not chase anymore.

My biggie, VSTNQ, has almost doubled since its most recent bottom. I owned shares at the bottom but kept getting scared and kept selling to break even multiple times all the way up - not a way to earn money. So all I have are the shares where I wasn't scared enough and should have been.
