How doomy was THAT? lol I did make a bull call for today but after the open, I thought it was Doom+. Would like this to be a sustained move but don't be surprised if it's all torn down tomorrow. You get the most wear on the calls that way All eyes are on Crapple for earnings, so we'll see how it goes. Rubber Bumper-gate may have impacted their bottom line heavily... at .0015 per bumper of injection molded rubber. How many trees need to be killed for this insidious iPhone!! Still waiting for Bros to snatch my IMGG short, but I see he sold, so I see no reason to yet ;D Still holding Q calls, they are better today. I picked up some MPG at 2.66, tight stop on that thing. As I said in my SPY post - I'm playing what the Green Arrow said to do. Hope everyone made some money today and will do so tomorrow. Members, please post your results along with your RDA of smileys!

Hmm, trade filled day for me. Good or bad? I'm not sure.
Sold my IMGG shares from yesterday ($.21) @ .257 and .251 for a nice 20% gain. Promptly bought a big more FMCC at the HOD @ $.353. Sold my CLF EOD @ $50.25 for just under 5%. Bought VSTNQ @ $.38.
Shorted AAPL at the close ($251.80) and bought FAZ in AH ($15.23) - all moves to ensure a market surge.
FMCC, short AAPL, FAZ, VSTNQ, and GOIG are my current holdings.
Overall a pretty good day for me thanks to the IMGG trade.
(edited to add my VSTNQ buy)

Still holding my aapl stock position after loosing a crap load on July $250 calls that expired and I lost alot of money on.
I wish I would have sold all my aapl stock and went all in on aapl $240 weekly calls this morning but I have been beaten up so bad on options lately.
Missed the boat but still riding the wake.

decent day -- decent unrealized profit and very tiny realized profit (my mistake).. bot 30K CENX at 8.96 (holding) placed a long order for 30K MU at 8.15, only 17.5K got filled. placed a sell order for all shares @8.17 and then tried to cancel it.. By mistake I canceled the partial long order instead of canceling the sell order. TOS has a unique feature wherein it shows active orders on the chart itself.. In my haste, I clicked on the wrong order and by the time i realized it, the shares were already gone.. lost couple of Ks because of this stupid mistake... realized profit of $350

Huge up day for me - mostly driven by LVS gains - took off some scalps - rolled some August puts into Sept to get more extrinsic premium locked up - also wrote a few more Augs. Doubled down on MNKD position. Sold the RSH puts I bought accidentally (meant to bug calls) last Friday. All good. I was predicting bear today and it started that way - my heart is not in the bear case (not right now anyway) just figured IBM would pull the market down - and it did until the market's bullishness pulled it back up - very good sign for bulls tomorrow.

I sacrificed along with brosin, bought dzz (short gold) and zsl (short silver) yesterday as hedges for the miners I am holding...bamo! Up went gold/silver for the first time in a while. Lost a couple of hundred, gained a couple of thousand...obviously would take that trade any day. Hope all did well.

No Dual - not using active trader option. With TOS if there is a pending order (for example limit order) for a given instrument and you are viewing the chart for the same instrument, the pending order(s) shows up on the chart. You can then double click on the X next to the order on chart and it would automatically cancels the order. As I had multiple orders (long and sell), I should have been more careful - perhaps used working orders under the monitor tab instead of canceling the order from charts..

'Active trader' is the way to go. Not only you can place orders with one click, you replace order by 'click-hold and drag', cancel, place stops and even use hot keys for instant action (panicked!) using your keyboard. Here is a snap shot I created for you to see: Uploaded with ImageShack.us

that looks pretty cool dual....how do i get this Most newly updated platforms offer this feature for active traders. Different platforms may have different names for it. Some call it 'matrix page' or 'trade ladder page'

daul - I am very afraid of active trader view... I believe there is no confirmation required on placing the order.. One wrong order and I will get burned.. I generally put the order into the order queue before submitting it.. With chart, you can also you replace order by 'click-hold and drag', cancel, place stops... it's just that i clicked on the wrong side of the chart ... My preferred setting: 3x3 charts, total 9 charts 7 charts with 133 ticks, Time and Sale on Left, L2 on bottom 2 charts (color linked) with 1 min update (for options), Time and Sale on Left, L2 on bottom - VIX, DOW, SNP and NASDAQ as small four windows on right on the top of the charts...

Taj,
There is a little white box called 'auto send in active trader'.
If you have 'no check mark' in that box, it will NOT be a one touch order. It will create an order in 'order entry' for you and then you can submit it after review.
Besides if you are placing limit orders away from current price, there is no way you would get burned.
Say MU is trading at around 8.45. And you want to buy 10000 shares at 8.35
You can very efficiently place the order in the active trader and manage it with ease.
You may need to try it in the 'ON Demand' mode or papermoney and gain confidence using it.
It is indispensable for the active trader, IMO.

you sold me Dual - I will look into it again.
Trust me I looked at it before and then decided it was not for me. I will use the active trader view tomorrow and let you know..
Thanks Buddy..

No trades, still holding very small position on SPY Aug 107 Puts...should have sold this am but WTH. We'll see. Surprised at CBI...have not traded it for a while, but it was up 7.3% on no apparent news.
