Great market day today had good progress with URE and APWR. I've been waiting and accumulating both. MVIS played games today but we all knew it would as it approaches the various levels. T4D has a great info on the MVIS Roll Call thread in the FME so check it out. Interesting movement within the bond market and RIFIN. I posted a morning chart and an intraday chart, and was surprised to see the bond market move up as the stock market did. Still hoping Dual can give some insight on that.Hope everyone made some money today and will do so tomorrow. Regulars, please post your results and use lots of smileys. (Final RIFIN and bond chart for today)

So...we need to see 780 on the Rifin, To have Ms. Whitney open her mouth, and then we can have a further leg upward to around 815/820.
Those fazzie bears are gonna get so smashed down. I pity them. Of course, shorting at that level will be soooooooo easy a trade, not least with Greece likely to return to the news in Mid-March.
*great chart by the way, most appreciated.

I'm off my game, except for MVIS, so trying not to force any trades. Other than trying to scalp some SRS, laying back until I see a trade I really want to take.

I'm liking this new board. I have not had a lot of time to watch the market today or play with the new board. Probably better I didn't watch really. My FAZ short is the only thing keeping my FAS shorts from whacking me good today. I plan to hold both until tomorrow to see if we have a continuation day off of this rally today. It seems all it was, from my initial glance, was a weak dollar rally. Dollar index took a big plunge down and it just made all commodities fly today. Other sectors look to have gone along for the ride as well. Tough day for the bears.
Wow, this has spell check too? Look Maxine, you won't have to cringe when you read my posts anymore.. lol
GL!

Bulls were on a stampede.
The market breadth was 5 to 1 positive on the NYSE, and slightly better than 2 to 1 on Nasdaq.
The VIX moved mostly sideways intraday; nonetheless, it closed lower by 1.8%. Not a strong showing.
The T-bond futures is the eye-sore contrary indicator today; it moved higher on the day. Respecting its message, I would be cautious for tomorrow. A minor pullback is quite likely.
Closed out LVS Feb 15 puts for $.08 and opened LVS Feb 16 puts for $.19 Closed out FAZ Feb 17 puts for $.02 and added to Mar 17 puts for $.47 Reduced FAZ Feb 18 calls for $2.10 and added to Mar 19 call for $2.29 as well as to Mar 20 calls for $1.31 Added to FAS Mar 70 calls for $4.51
Hitting an all time high, my trading account rocketed higher by 8.6% on the day and is up 9.7% for Feb option cycle.
The intermediate bull cycle is very well entrenched now, but a minor pullback is not out of the ordinary tomorrow.

Sold my AKS buy at $19.56 and hope to buy back on any pull back. Sold my DNDN shares bought at $30.26 this afternoon too - many have done well the past few days. Keeping an eye on the solars and have buy orders in for MVIS.

Nice long port up day...4.3%....still recovering from mid January but looking better. Was watching DRV for an entry in case of reversal but TG did not see one. Almost started a position in TIE, but currently too heavy in materials.

Opened GS 155 Put Calendar Spread Bought PCLN Feb 210 and 220 Calls for earnings play, will lighten position tomorrow if it rises into earnings release. Close above 210 good for the rising wedge chart although not convincing volume.

Glad the majority seemed to do well today.
Took a long position on ES while it was stuck in consolidate mode after lunch...so garnered a few pts. before close.
