Baby bears win! Close, and all things considered most junky things were up nicely today.
I sold my TSEM at 1.83 for a nice profit. I will be back in that one again. I looked for a short entry on DNDN and had it in at 34... it came to 33.99 on the bid but wouldn't give me the 34 so I missed the entry. (Shoulda chased.)
Otherwise no other changes. Still holding short FAZ puts to hedge a FAZ short position. And a bunch of other junk ;D
Hope everyone made some money today and will do so tomorrow. Regulars please post your results and fulfill your daily smiley regimen.

FAS bagholder here: I happily watched 'er climb over 78, cried as she fell, and then cursed the up/down, mostly down movement thereafter. My TYH also disappointed. But still, up a mediocre 1.2% on the day. I agree with most that some sort of pullback seems likely but . . . just . . . can't . . . hit . . . sell. Sigh. Bagholder syndrome, I guess. Ditto today, except up less than 1%. Someone stage an intervention. Hope all did well.

The overbought condition felt hypoxic to the bulls. But the bullish undertones were evident throughout the session. Again the VIX was exhibiting signs that it has a hard time moving lower. It closed down 1.2%. The bullish tone in the breadth whittled a bit but still ended in favor of the advancers by 4104 : 3071. Another indecisive and uneventful action in the T-bond futures. Closed a sliver of my position in FAZ Mar 20 calls for .30 Opened FAZ Apr 19 calls for average price of 1.01 Opened FAS Apr 70 puts for average of 3.82 Traded SQNM for a nickel gain Traded FAS Mar 70 calls for 30cent gain My account finished unchanged. I feel the bears may be gaining a little strength but the bulls are not yet ready to throw in the towel. I remain slightly bearish for tomorrow.

All things considered, I was pleased with how APWR acted today despite having an overall down day. Volume still a bit light for my liking, but I think it is close. The $14 level is frustrating people in the same way the $12 level frustrated people last Fall.
I think we are setting up for a large short squeeze in the markets. Shorts (trapped from the Bloody lows around 1050 SPX) have not had a big reason to cover their positions yet, and more than likely they have been adding to them.
March 16th is approaching quickly, and we have 26 points to go SPX (above today's high) for the patented high just before FOMC. I thought we'd reach at least 1175 by then, also, which may be a bit of stretch. But a squeeze could certainly get us there.

No changes. LVS still top of the triangle and will likely move towards $16. That will be my exit area. Damn, I sound confident, don't I?

Added 20 BIDU 470 puts
Opened short position in XLF w/ a stop at 14.92 just above the high yesterday. I do not think we breach 14.90-95 area in the next week. That is one hell of a gravestone doji yesterday.
Opened 100,000 SPNG for s's and g's

MVIS continues to climb this week into annual earnings call sheduled for Monday, March 8 after market close. Up $7K on the day for $36K this week (unrealized). Looking for much more, but realize the substantial risk on Monday if 2010 production guidance is not favorable.
