Welcome to TurnAround Thursday! The major averages did a 180-degree turnaround closing barely red, truly remarkable considering the Dow Jones at one point plummeted below 12,000. Sentiment appeared to shift after lunchtime with buying resuming for most of the remainder of the session. The Nasdaq slightly outpaced Transports. A small late day selloff left the VIX slightly elevated from it's session low, but remarkably in my opinion down 4.56% on a day when the DJIA traveled close to 150 points from peak to trough. I can honestly say I do NOT think the bear has been exorcised from this market yet. I think it is more angry and pissed than ever before. No trades. Hope everyone made some money today and will do so tomorrow. Members, please post your results along with your RDA of smileys!

Well it was a dramatic day. I didn't do any scalping. Just bought a few more LVS shares and wrote some $46 puts for next week. Also bought some $44 and $45 calls that expire tomorrow. I have sunk about $16k into calls that expire tomorrow - a big roll of the dice - been buying them all week. Net net for the day I am down less than 1/4% for the day. So far it's been a crappy week but I have great expectations about tomorrow.

FFR was level at .15% and remains in "deployment on risk" levels - yet it has not gone lower this week, which should at least give the bulls a little solace. FAZ unlost a bit more - my entry has transformed from $9.02 to $45.10 ;D MNKD did pretty well too monopoly world big cap - after a couple good days in a row, saw a pullback today thanks mainly to my PCLN short, acct -2% on the day, only a couple moves buys: (to cover all) SLW @ $38.95 & $39.05 for +3.6% from yesterday - 2 days in a row with nice trades here (both from the short side) I remain 100% short and fwiw am still not the least bit bullish.

Bought a few SPY calls near the close.. holding a few USO calls as well.. Missed this mornings pop on USO to get out, but i think there is more upside bias LT in oil..
Interesting day, silver, gold, oil and vxx dumping EOD signifies possible upside move tomorrow in equities. I will sell these SPY calls on a 20% move tomorrow with a limit order. Should only take about a 7-10 point move on the SPY..
Busy as heck with life right now, and also trying to go to more swing trade style so havent been around much. I know you all miss me so much lol
Gl for tomorrow guys!
