Up and up and up she goes Where she stops, nobody knows. I am still holding my fas calls, although unloading time may be near. Didn't get on the bus this morning, it just didn't feel like it was going to run today. I have no idea where that dip came from. Probably just opex. Step right up and tell us how you did today

Well we got the up move we needed to confirm that we are maintaining bullish spirits and are not too spooked by the Middle East. So it's onward and upward to Dow 14k. A nice day all around for the portfolio. Scalped some more LVS and also scalped the Friday $49 puts. Sold some of my MMR for a nice profit and bought some SIRI. Overall up a shade more than 1% today 6-1/4% MTD and 10-1/4% YTD.

Bought to close some SVNT Feb 11 puts ahead of opex. Sold for 1.05/sh last month, bought to cover for 1.15/sh today, for a small loss. Still short Feb 10 puts, Feb 9 puts and Feb 11 calls, all out of the money. Should be a good opex if SVNT holds still for a couple more days.
Also short SVNT Mar 11 puts and Mar 11 calls, both well in the green. Long the stock, which is in the red, but each month I work some of that off with the short options.

FFR was bullish to .16% from .15% - now out of "deployment on risk' levels and back into "only" 'get your parachutes on watch' levels. My FAZ relost some more while my MNKD was level monopoly world big cap - no moves, acct -2.1% on the day; as mentioned in yesterday's wrap, I met my margin call yesterday. Today's market move put me back into negative buying power territory so I would have another margin call tomorrow morning. The market settling in the mid 1330s makes my capitulation in this account almost inevitable tomorrow or Thursday. We will see how it goes. scalp trades - no moves, acct -1.9% on the day all in all, accts were down 2% on the day

Virtually regained some unrealized losses from some unrealized gains on the goldmine: www.stockwatch.com/Quote/Detail.aspx?symbol=CNL®ion=CThey had some more good drilling results to report today. In terms of the effect this is having on the broader portfolio (which has 142K shares of it)... this is quite UNREAL!

(+0.81% / $220)
Trying to be more conservative with my trading, so today was a good day.

Bought SD at 8.94
Watched in amazement as UURAF flew from .86 to 1.06 on heavy volume. Was intending to add to the token amount already holding, but didn't want to chase it. Maybe it will come back for a another chance in the next few days...
Seems the REE stocks are having their day. AVL was up too.
