I was out most of the trading session today and saw the portion of the show where FAS was falling off a cliff, which did well for my diagonal spread finally. But looking now appears the indexes clawed their way back to almost neutral. The selloff looked equally impressive, and had an impulse type of feel to it. How can we be fooled though? It's never going down when the Fed just charges it's daily stock purchases on it's credit card. BTFD? No trades today. Hope everyone made some money today and will do so tomorrow. Members, please post your results along with your RDA of smileys!

Sorry Cos - started getting it ready about 5-10 min before clicking Post (got sidetracked in the middle) - figured you were taking a better nap than that!! ;D As Ccash pointed out in the PPDT, it looks like anyone bearish should just vote baby bull from now on since that's as bearish as we are going to get! Saw a good amount of weakness in the stocks I track; only 4 of the 17 stocks I own in my IRA were green today, and prior to the late day move towards even for the market, all 17 were red even with the market only down 20 points - many of these have gone on large runs, so maybe it is only the squid feasting while it can. Make it 8 straight green days for the Dow Industrials.

Very slow day here in Tulsa - slow and snow. Bought back some weekly LVS $50 puts and replaced with short June $46 puts for more premium. Apart from that it was the death of a thousand cuts across the portfolio. Down 0.6% for the day but up 6.4% YTD.

Not to get your bear hopes up, but I see today as an inside day that looks to get resolved to the downside if the Nasdaq continues its slide into tomorrow.. The target I would say is 130.75-131 on the spy... Again, this is speculative at best but still it could happen

Not going that far south....flying to Orlando, then to south of Lakeland, in what used to be the sticks. Very few sticks left in FL, except in North Fl, and I have roots there also. I haven't counted, but I think I'm a 5g or 6g Floridian - mid 1800's.

"...the Clinton flu?" Does it have anything to do with NOT having sex with that...flu-bug? (It still remains incredible to me that that man can lie so well with such a straight face and basically get away with it - pathetic...but the true mark of a consumate politician.) Our Sen Jim Webb (D-Virginia) just announced that he's hanging it up after his very first term. He's been a very effective Senator, but he's had enough of the handshaking, schmoozing and kissing ass necessary to get re-elected. I got A LOT of respect for that man (Webb that is). ps - Get well quick Rich
