Woof! Not sure now but I'll stick with MeatPop. Averaged in some more CSCO calls as I expected more tank but not a new 52 week low. Ah well. We'll see how it goes. Also opened some Jan 16 and 18 ITM calls. Hope everyone made some money and will do so tomorrow. Is it a half trading day??? Regulars, please post your results along with your RDA of smileys.

No trades and I am loving my position. I didnt see the Korea thing but as long as 1176 holds, the bulls can still play some ball. a break of 1176 will bring in all of the bots and their sell orders. Another year and another holiday reversal. Oh to be a slimy MM and manipulate equities all day long and count that cash.... My oh my.
Hope everyone made a bundle today and will continue to do so ad infinitum.

Jack I think ELON still has room. The low end supplies seem used up. I have to admit I'm surprised you sold.

I know I posted early today but for the wrap. Sold ACI HAL ADBE. All for very decent gains but not what I coulda had yesterday.... Not in the mood to calculate percents but some ofr 10% some for 7% like that.... Sold URRE shoulda held it. I guess people figure we will need Uranium to nuke North Korea.... Held SVA it went up but is about where it has been. 4.43 Held TGB because I ain't gonna sell it till it pays. HAL is tricky. I coulda held it. Just have to hope it dumps some tomorrow cause I kinda think I am gonna buy it back.... Or maybe just take a vacation and just watch. Anyone like any material stocks in particular?

Jack I think ELON still has room. The low end supplies seem used up. I have to admit I'm surprised you sold. Better upside potential w/ CNL...additional geologic survey results are due out which will increase last summer's reserves. The Burritica mine alone will be classified as a "Super" deposit (with more than 1M oz gold in it) and there are seven other properties in CNL yet to be drilled. The gameplan is that the company will be bought out by a major miner next Spring (they already turned down a 9.70/shr offer from a major miner last month). Minimum target is $15-20/shr and in a bidding war amongst majors could go as high as $30-40. I dunno where else I can go to AT LEAST double my money in 4-5mos - wish me luck. ;D

Had the best day doing the FAS/FAZ thing since I started monitoring October 1... Sold 3,000 FAZ (AP $11.8698) for a $2,200 profit and these are the same shares I had bought and sold last week for a $900 profit. I also bought 1,000 FAS (500 @$21.50 and $21.30) My average realized, daily gain net of commissions doing the FAS/FAZ arbitrage during November is now at $447.34 and I still have meat on the FAZ bone as we speak - At 20 trading days a month, that equates to over $100K per year - I'm keeping my fingures crossed. Currently holding 4,000 FAS (red) and 2,000 FAZ (green). It would be so easy to take the FAZ profit but am hoping for more profit (Gark was talking about possibly $13+) and if not, FAZ will go down and FAS will takeover - Either way, I will sell 1 for profit and buy the other to average down. Was tempted to pull the plug on that MVIS POS like Jack did but decided to hold on a little longer - We'll see. Hope everyone has a great evening and look forward to seeing Yall tomorrow - Dave

Well LVS opened down quite a bit. Got one scalp off. Over the day bought 4k more shares. Watched pretty much every stock in my portfolio decline. Doubled down on my investment in MMR based on another great writeup in Forbes (apparently they are the only outfit in the US doing offshore drilling as they are drilling in about 3 feet of water). Overall a pretty bad day thanks to Kim Jong Toadface - down about 2% overall. Not worried.

Oh yeah: SVA THAT was another POS I sold today. oh oh jack your selling all your great holdings It wasn't about panicking Timber - there's just a lot more upside w/ CNL: minimum CNL buy-out next Spring @ 15-20/shr and if/when a bidding war w/ major miners for it breaks out potentially can go to 25-40/shr. GL w/ SVA...like MVIS w/ Dino I hope it explodes upward for you I really do.

Real LifeFFR was very bearish from .21% to .19% - this puts us from well in "all clear" territory to holding true by a thread right now. Further decline would suggest bulls want to get their parachutes ready again for risk assets. My FAS was pretty red. One of my 3 penny "plays" did something today - IMDS is back on the radar. I don't talk about these 3 for a reason (IMDS, MNDP are it, and I technically have a 3rd in SPNGQQQQQ) Monopoly World / real time entries tracked in the blog Big Cap - not a good day here, -5.7% on the day I reallocated a bit Sells: AAPL @ $308.55 / +2.1% 1/2 RIMM @ $58.17 / +3.2% 1/4 SOL @ $9.50 / 3.1% Shorts: CRM $140.80 CMG $242 Added to BKE $38.50 / 5x short position, avg $36.30 for unrealized -5.3% Went from 78% long, 22% short to ALLOCATIONS LONG 67% SHORT 33% CASH 0% Scalp Trades - no moves, -6.8% on the day -still holding FAS (bloooooooody -8.3%) and RIMM (+.8%) Options Acct - no moves, remain all cash. Won't give up the monster gains in here bots! All in all, accounts were -6.7% on the day.

this guy is the best salesman I know. He could sell ice to eskimos.
Gets me a lot of work.
the bike flooded, of course. He was all worried. I told him bikes were made to be laid down, don't worry about it.
But I don't think he'll be buying that harley he was talking about.

Wow yeah CNL has done great for you Jack The only thing that bothers me about it - if this is all such a given and everyone knows it, why is it not worth that much already? Bros - Good Q The "word" is NOT all out yet. They were at a conference in San Francisco over the weekend which I believe is helping to get the word out, but look: ITS ONLY been traded on an exchange since April 2010. A lot of what I know about it is because I've held the company in a private placement for 14 fuken years when I couldn't sell it even if I wanted to...and "I know things man." And don't confuse that statement w/ insider info it ain't. Its all about the geologic data. When the first set was issued this past summer (after it had been independently V & V'ed) the pps popped. When the next set comes out its gonna pop again - THAT's how it works. The next set of data should be coming out anytime now. And the set of data from the following drilling program including other properties I presume CNL has will be coming out in the Spring: they got a plan and they are executing it. They were offered 9.70/shr buyout a month or 2 ago by a major and they turned it down. Shortly after that the majors tried to short the shit out of it to get them to come to the table. It didn't work. Disclosure: I own a shitload of this company now.
