(filling in for Cos) This is the "Dancing Bulls Version" "Well, how did we get here?" The market made a new 52 wk high today. Yet the VIX did not make a new 52 wk low (52 wk low is $17.90 vs 17.97 LOD today) and actually ran up fairly strongly into the close; perhaps this is some hedging going on by those having to chase the move by default. It is at least something to watch. We have now moved up 17.3% in 2 months and 3 days... as we saw the past 2 days, there are still plenty of bears in this market. Hopefully today did something about that. We are slowly making our way towards a bear-less market, which will be something to fear. For now though, it appears the bears are still alive although in substantial pain after today. Also of note, we have now passed the FOMC meeting without topping. This is significant. Hope everyone made some money today and will do so tomorrow. Members, please post your results along with your RDA of smileys!

Semis still look strong.. Banks might be somehow making a run on it..
I am still bullish..
And am holding a few calls long term.. So i guess the top is in tomorrow lol..
What a hell of a day.. looking back on the huge rally, it would really have just paid to buy and hold the high fliers..
Congrats and Goodluck everyone

Great stuff Bros; gang I hope everyone did great today! When I saw the action in the dollar and Euro; I covered for a small loss which couldve been a huge loss had I held. Risk management really saved my neck today. Wish I couldve ridin the bull side today; it was quite a stampede.
Put/call looks troublesome; we should correct a lil but Fri and Mon and I shall buy the bounce then. Lets make all the money we can short term because our masters will be making us pick cotton longer term. A strong currency is the backbone of any economy; weakness is never strength! I WANT A STRONG DOLLAR! Lets hope Bennie is right.

Traded LVS like crazy - scalped - wrote some more options - wiped out some of my low strike options. Bought some more MGM puts. My new LVS lite portfolio does not make money as fast as the old LVS heavy on these big days - still overall + about $30k - I can live with that.

Real Life - busier day in real life than I've had in quite awhile. FFR was level at .20% and remains in the 'all clear zone' for the bulls; it has yet to show any signs of topping, and the market has gone with that. I *SOLD* half my FAS $24.90 for 25% - holding other half. Would like to grab that half back around $22/$22.50, but we'll see what happens.. I doubt to get it that low again. In my IRA, I opened 5 new positions as well by skimming some profits to free up some funds. Skimmed off my FCX, BP, and RIMM profits to get them down to 1x positions from approx 1.5x positions due to their profits. Sold ELON outright for breakeven, and took off the 2.5x extra on my CLF (held since early & mid 2009) - it had been my biggest position for I don't know how long... opened up BAC $11.75 TGB $4.72 MVIS $1.71 V $79.39 Mon $61.44 Monopoly World / real time entries tracked in Blog - very active reallocation day, and all 3 of my accounts hit new highs today Big Cap just under +4% on the day... new high of +22% overall. Reallocation day: Day traded: CHK $22 to $22.30 (+1.2%) Sold: PBR $36.08 +5.6% 33% my BAC $12.17 +2% Added to my shorts: GOLD $97.31 CMG $221.90 CRM $113.65 & new BIDU short $110 & $109.95 **Now 48% long, 48% short, 4% cash **Scalp Trades - +3.5% on the day, +50.4% overall Closed out FAS $23.63 for *4%* - biggest gain I've had in scalp trade acct, and it was one hell of a long hold Closed out CHK $22.26 +1.2% Bought CLF $70, holding overnight / unrealized breakeven Options account - +4.7% on the day, hit a new high as well (+93.1% overall) Only move, closed out my remaining SPY $119 weekly options for 127% @ $2.30 - I left a remaining 100% on the table All in all, accounts +4.1% overall on the day

I got my butt handed to me trading BIDU $110 weekly calls. My gains for the past 2-3 weeks wiped out. I need to practice better risk management.
I won't be trading Bidu anymore but will be sticking to my usual aapl weekly trades. Bidu seems like it is to manipulated to me and it is easier to make money using aapl and weekly's.
Holding bac stock and Jan 2012 $12.50 calls that I bought when it was $11.40.
Bought CSX at $62.60 on the 3% drop in 3 minuetes. CSX traded 10 times its average daily volume because someone made 2 10K block sell trades. It is strange and I hope it doesn't bite me in the butt.
CRUS announced it completed its $20M buyback and announced an $80M buyback. In essence they took the float down 2% and authorized to take it down another 9%. The stock is 63% off its high. I bought a small position after hours at $13.25 for a hopefull rise in the pps.

Wonderful day. Hopefully all Fastopians took part in it. This is the way it used to be, long ago.
The spy weeklys are the apple of my eye. I short, I win. I long, I win.
I think we should start daily options!
Every day is opex!
bwahahahahahahahah!

Ouch!
Unfortunately, rode my FAZ holdings all the way down but was able to get what I thought were unexpected buyins at $11.30 and $11.10 - Only time will tell how good those were.
Fortunately, went against my rules and bought 500 FAS late morning and was able to sell for an unexpected $400 scalp.
I'm truly happy for all who enjoyed the Bull Stampede, please let me know when the coast is clear and I look forward to rubbing elbows with yall tomorrow - Dave

My worst day ever, as of late. Bought 500 12 VXX weekly calls at .10 by accident, wanted to buy the puts-I guess I am that stupid; sold them at .05, lost almost 3800, all I made in the last month plus 400.
Bought and holding 10 56 Nov TNA calls, about even now. I pray they jump it to 65 or more by opex.
GLTA,

Whats AB* I think im gona buy DRN for the overnite pop. What say yee Ex? The asterisk means a wildcard on searches, in other terms, some stock symbol that starts with ABxx vs. AAxx. I'm kinda feeling we see a pullback tomorrow after the RedBull caffeine/sugar high of the market today....Damn I wish RedBull was publicly traded.

Timber would be in Hawg Heaven!! No sugested 3X Bull ETF to buy real quick before AH ends? I'd wait Joe (assuming you already some longs already) - I was thinking a lot about it, and I could see a huge gap down as much as I could see a huge gap up... risk might not be worth it.
