And then there was bloodshed. I figured after last night's flash crash that we would hit these levels without a problem. Thus why I changed from bear to Hex Doom Yogi Bear last night after I saw that chart. Ding! This is a very large down day given the recent action and needs to be respected. Beware the dip buy until the market finds the Fib it wants to bottom at. Please see the communique from Meat_Popcicle regarding index action going into the end of year Opex. He has more to come. An Icky trade opened today for BAC, picked up Nov 10's for 2.47, and am nicely underwater but it was only a 1/2 position. I put in a GTC for some more at 1.80. I guess we could get as low as 11.40 is my guess so keeping powder dry. Not a HUGE position, a standard size for me. Most know I keep my plays sized very small in RoboAlgoRoulette Market. Hope everyone made some money today and will do so tomorrow. Members, please post your results along with your RDA of smileys!

Just another day I guess......................I did 5 trades on SPY PUTS and CALLS.................all profitable with the best being + 14.5% and worst -5.8% ....overall net profit for the day ..............was lucky they had that EOD push or it would have been a even to slight down day..................I also still think more down to come that is why I am still holding SDS from much lower SPY levels.................Exalt for Cos.........................Live to trade another day.....................GLTA

Played aapl $300 calls. Bought am at $7.90 had to step away and put a sell order in that hit at $11. It was a gutsy move as I bought 5 min after market open. The calls ended up going to around $15.
I believe aapl performed really well considering yesterday's after hours action. Also we have filled the gap created on 10-15-10.
I am still holding my $280 weekly's I didn't sell yesterday for $39. They had an ask at close of $29.90 today.
I am hoping that we break through $310 on the mac event tommorrow.
I am also holding CRUS stock and call options for earnings on Thursday.

Real Life - FFR was bearish today to .19% after moving bullishly the previous 2 days in a row. Typically, 2 days in a row of moves is significant. Should it be bearish again tomorrow, the strong bullish sign of Friday & Monday may be cancelled out. It is something to watch, but for now, it is at or above the .19% all clear level. Remember, .18% is the "Parachutes on Watch" level. Plus, a confirmation of the market's strong red push today would be worrisome for the bulls on an interim basis; remember, however, that the FFR often tops prior to the market, so bulls may still see some upward pricing pressure this week, which combined with a dropping FFR is the divergence we would look for in a topping process. Stay nimble! My FAS took a nice shovel to the head, but no thoughts of selling it. Monopoly world - had a relatively strong day as I largely took advantage of what I saw as a very strong buying opportunity to get out of what was a 38% short allocation in the big cap account. Big Cap - relatively busy day as a reallocation day. All in all, account was down .1% on the day only. I went from a 62% long 38% short allocation to a 86% long 6% short 8% cash allocation. -bought to cover my big SOL short position @ $12.93 & $12.21 for very large 11% gain (this was down upwards of 5-10% prior to my 2nd and 3rd entries) -bought to cover my big GOLD short position @ $97.77 & $95.72 for 4.2% -bought to cover a somewhat smaller LVS short position @ $36.59 for 1.8% (this was a double entry and I don't want to get my butt kicked anymore by it, I'll take slightly green) Opened (or added to) 4 long positions BKE (3rd go around) $29.51 AAPL (first buy) $308.90 CHK (added to) $22.42 FAS (first buy) $22 - **I do not buy 3x funds in this account typically - will sell tomorrow** Scalp Trades - no moves, -8%; the FAS move today makes me mad. I am a complete moron and had no idea it had gone green (let alone well green). I had been trapped in it and would've loved the chance to get out. As it is, I am still in it and now trapped again for a unrealized 3.8% loss. Options Account - not a bad day, not a good day (+.4%) -bought AAPL $320 weekly puts $15.30, $12.10, and $10.20; sold for $13.20 (too early) for 8% -bought SPY $116 weekly calls for $1.75, $1.47, and $1.22 (avg $1.48), still holding unrealized -1.3% -bought AAPL $290 weekly calls for $19.45, still holding - unrealized +2.6% All in all, accounts down 1.9% solely due to the scalp account

Well, I was fortunate to pick up Drv, Tza, and Dpk yesterday. booked gains and got about 5% when all was said and done. I am 100% cash at the moment in my trading account and will go long if we get a nice gap down Wed. Wed. should be exciting as well; live 2 trade another day. All the best gang!

Nice work actuary!!! They'll need heavy chrome in that environment! You're gonna mount them WHERE in there? LOL!!! And make sure you look into those new shower heads - I heard the latest is to have 2-4 blasting you from different angles w/ pulsating streams (sounds kinda kinky to me but that's all we're getting outa Gen-XXX'ers I guess.) ;D

Sold my GOOG shares and re-loaded with 330 BIDU shares at just under $101. Decided to play BIDU for now because I feel like AVNR might continue to pull back before it coils.. . My gut says it doubles before the Oct 30th decision date. We'll soon see...

Hey Jack - I had a roommate freshman year in college who was a Golden Glover - Went to the gym one afternoon to goof around with heavy gloves and that was the last time - Some guys are just born to hit - He did teach me how to hit a speed bag though - What a great workout!!! Are you a pugilist/MA guy? Wouldn't surprise me - Is your alias Jason Bourne SR?
