Moderately nice day - paid for 2 of the wheels (5 including the spare) on my Korean pimpmobile . Got assigned on my LVS puts and sold back out today above the strike price. Did 2 more LVS scalps. Apparently I also had MNKD calls and those got exercised for me (I thought they were Febs!) sold the shares out for a loss and replaced them with Feb $4 calls. Bought some EWY to get a piece of Korea and Hyundai. Finally bought back into PCS - I'd owned them before and sold out. All in all up about 1-1/4% on the portfolio or 3-1/4% ytd.

Took delivery of some SVNT stock I was assigned from some short, in the money puts over the weekend. Unfortunately, TD Ameritrade's concentration margin requirement rules kicked in, and I ended up with over twice as much maintenance requirement as I was expecting. So, I had to take a loss on some of the stock in order to get below the concentration threshold. Sold Feb 11 covered calls on half, and Mar 11 covered calls on the rest. Bought to cover the HGSI Feb 24 puts I sold Friday for a 20% profit. I was planning on selling my HGSI long position, but that would have screwed up my SVNT concentration again, so I sold some Feb 25 calls instead. I sold them near the top of the day, so those are already in the green. SVNT is really starting to annoy me, now. That's probably a sign that we're near capitulation. Of course, thinking we're near capitulation is bearish for the stock. Maybe I'm overthinking it

Looks like the action made Cos sleepy today 'And it went up!' I didn't have a chance to watch much of the action in detail today, so I won't make any specific commentary other than it looks like the bears lost... 2 days in a row (sorry to non-football fans)!! Hope everyone made some money today and will do so tomorrow. Members, please post your results along with your RDA of smileys! The story may not yet be over Bros: It may be true that the Bears got their clock cleaned, but the Meat Packers slaughter Bulls don't they??? lol!!!

I just kinda watched..and napped.
I don't trust the market here and I'd like to be more certain before I throw any more money out there.

Ok, I did fall asleep right around 3:00, then woke up at 5:30, saw Bros had it covered, and went to the store and that seemed to take an inordinate amount of time.
Thanks for the save Bros, as always. Remember the 45 minute rule, Fredo... If I miss posting the Wrap by 4:45, the rest of the Mods have at it, and I can't tell you how much I appreciate them.

FFR was bearish to .17% from .18%, remaining in 'get your parachutes on watch' territory and only one notch above the "deployment on risk" The FOMC meeting is right around the corner I *added* to my FAZ at $8.55 (avg now $9.02) - I did not plan on it until today's move. I expected the market to be down nicely today to be honest. monopoly world / tracked in blog big cap - hit a new high for the acct early in the am, but ended up finishing the day -1.7%, a few moves Buys: (to cover all) CRM @ $127.60 / +10.2% on only a standard 1x short position (add) FAZ @ $8.56 / avg now $9.10 unrealized -6% on 7x "long" position Short: (new) BKE @ $36.85 - I had covered this very big short position 2 weeks ago because it was going ex-div... looking back, looks like I had covered it all at... $36.75 I am now 0% long, 100% short - only other time that happened was 11/10/10 through 11/16/10, and it worked out very well. Hopefully I get lucky again.scalp trades - no moves, FAZ was barely red, acct -.3% all in all, accounts were down -1.3% on the day
