I think Dino summed it up best when he pointed out the Red S&P and I'm sure the SEC is right on it. No trades today, just sitting and watching things for right now, but it sure feels like there's some more selling out there. MP sent a memogram today suggesting not to buy the dip. He could be right. Lots of opexy action today Hope everyone made some money today and will do so on Monday. Members, please post your results along with your RDA of new and improved smileys!

For a long term trade in my Roth IRA.
Added to my BAC and C position's on the dip. Plan on holding for the rest of the year.
I am heavy weight aapl and crus with a 55% position total.
Bac and C I now have a 19% position.
Sitting on 4% cash.
FYI look at CRUS for a volitility squeeze that is occuring. It should run up in earnings.
In trading account:
Bought BAC Jan 12 12.5 calls for $3.15 Bought XLF Jan $16 calls for $0.43
JPM earnings on the 14th.

I put in a low ball order for TNA (in the AM, when it was 75+) and to my astonishment it filled at 70.5. I sold it at 73.
No way I am holding anything overnight. No way no how

Panic in the streets with SVNT today, on a business update from Savient management. Yahoo message boards are full of newbies folding their hands and turning bearish while longer-term investors are reiterating their concerns. Everyone thinks Savient management is a bunch of buffoons. Price per share bounced hard off of $10.22 this AM on large volume. To me, this looks like capitulation, so I naked sold a bunch of Feb. 10 puts.
Good day for HGSI, up 2% on the day, and LDK up 1.36%. Two weeks to go before Jan. options expiration. I'm collecting $2,000/day in theta at the moment.

A nice start to the year - up almost 6% on the week AND the month AND the year to date (!!!). Today was a little less than 2% on the shoulders of LVS. Did a scalp, bought back some way out of the money puts and replaced them with other puts. Sold my AIG and bought 2,000 shares of HNP (a Chinese power company run by the son of a former Chinese Premier).

Real Life[/u] FFR was bearish to .17% from .18% - it is now even deeper in "get your parachutes on watch" territory and only one move away from "deployment on risk" at .16%. The divergence between it and the equity market grows wider. My FAZ position was green, even got slightly green overall ($9.25) at one point before closing back down a couple % unrealized. Monopoly World / real time tracked in my blog[/u] Big Cap - very big swing today; opened around +72% overall since inception, quickly reached a new high @ +77% on its way to an intraday high +84.5%, and then finished the day at +74% and down -1.2% on the day... this is a big account, so the big % swings are a lot of money only one move, added to my LVS short @ $49.17 - now 7x short position avg $46.16 unrealized -8.1% I am now 8% long, 96% short - I have a margin call after that late day push towards even scalp trades acct no moves, +3.2%, still way underwater on FAZ from $10.73 unrealized -16.4% Options Acct [/url] - breakeven day, SPY $126 Jan puts did well early on and ended up giving it all back All in all, accts were down -.3% on the day Fwiw, I am as bearish as I have been since mid April 2010
