I hate to admit I'm still beary and this spike was part of the setup, only that it was to occur at a lower SPX - around 1150-1170. But I still believe the MP prediction. I guess my question is where you think we ultimately go from 1150 should you get the number. If the answer is 1190/1200 and then ultimately way lower, sub 1100/1050/1000, I can see the argument for being bearish at 1175. If the answer is ultimately way higher (I personally have no number or target at this point since it's way too early), I don't see the point. My main argument for being a bull at 1175 was that even if it did go to 1150 or 1130 (rocks), being stubborn about a couple % and missing unlimited upward potential (currently now 4%) doesn't seem that great. Now at 1220, it's an even tougher decision then

Joe it is buying a set amount of a set of stocks or a fund the same amount every month whether the market is up or down. That is how most large companies that have 401K's for their employee's operate. Kaiser as in Kaiser Healthcare does it that way. My friend that works there told me about it. And yanno what? she is doing extremely well because she did not ever sell during the sell off. She was lucky and kept her job and added every month. And of course kaiser matches a certain percentage of her contribution.

Far as I can tell MP is a figment of Cosmic's imagination. His alter ego. OR an algorithm he worked out. Take your pick.
