Per the below, we had been travelling through some storm weather recently. It appears that the storm is breaking, and we will shortly be attempting to rise above the final portion of it. Albeit cautiously for a little bit -- as we might experience some *slight* turbulance on our ascent -- feel free to move about the cabin. This is your captain speaking; as always, thank you for flying Benair. ;D

Good call commish - I was thinking it looked like The Chart(tm) today. A little steep though.
Yesterday's Inverse of The Chart(tm) didn't play out well either. I think they may be onto it.
FFR is the biggest thing by a long shot...

Brosin, I could swear you are a technician in disguise. You went bullish right when S&P tagged lower channel line of ascending channel.
I got to admit, pullback has been a little more than I expected but I just couldn't see putting on the bear hat. I still see charts as bullish. I guess because I am now looking at the big picture.
Anyway, its really good to have you back.

I won't say I never look at a chart
But it is the whole picture I am concerned with, and the charts are only a part of that whole. Sentiment is a much more component of what I look at.

My opinion of a perfect, well-rounded trader:
A Fundamentalist, a Master Technician, and an expert in Risk Management.
All three I need improvement on. LOL

I dunno, chart today is pretty classic of those of days past.... and it's raining outside. which confirms the trend. be careful ) The Chart(tm) still barely alive for now. Looks ominous for it today though - FAS gets a little more push going to $22.60+, and I think The Chart(tm) pattern is broken for today. Yesterday's version of The Chart Inverse(tm) failed as well. Maybe they are onto us

RIFIN up channel still in tact. FINS look like they want to back test symmetrical triangle breakout. Uploaded with ImageShack.us

I think the chance for EOD selloff far outweighs the likelihood of EOD squeeze. The chart speaks.

Agreed Sanj - I guess I was just on the lookout for 2 straight failures in a row. Yesterday should've been a perfect inverse. But lightning not striking twice here

No worries Sanj - the charts(tm) have been getting tougher and tougher lately. It held for hours longer today than I thought it would, so kudos for that!

I think the problem was that there was no thunder today, only rain. That's what threw me off.

LOL no doubt But it's ok - Benair will soar through (and over) all kinds of rough skies in the coming years.
