Rex Did u confirm your post re last Fridays job numbers? Mist, I was being facetious when asking those questions because I certainly did not expect to see a day like this today, and at the time didn't know what was powering us upwards. Now I know, evidentally, China GDP is expected to be good.

Foreclosures Ready To 'Burst' As 1st-Time Filings Up By JASON MA, INVESTOR'S BUSINESS DAILY Posted 01:56 PM ET Email Print License Comment inShare First-time foreclosure filings climbed 7% in March vs. February, the third consecutive increase, as lenders like Bank of America (BAC) and Wells Fargo (WFC) continue working through a backlog of distressed homes left over from the housing crash.
Overall foreclosure activity, which include default notices, scheduled auctions and bank repossessions, were 4% lower in March and were down 2% in Q1 vs. Q4, RealtyTrac said. But it warned not to take comfort in those declines.
"The dam may not burst in the next 30 to 45 days, but it will eventually burst, and everyone downstream should be prepared for that to happen — both in terms of new foreclosure activity and new short sale activity," said RealtyTrac CEO Brandon Moore in a statement.

In intraday trading, BofA shares were up 1.6% as were those of Wells Fargo, JPMorgan Chase (JPM) and Citigroup (C), amid a broad market rally fueled by high expectations for China's economic growth report.
The rising number of foreclosures was expected, but the latest report comes a day after a housing market survey predicted this year would mark the start of the long-awaited turnaround.
The $25 billion settlement top banks reached recently with states and federal agencies helped clear the way for them to resume foreclosure proceedings that were frozen last year during probes into "robo-signing" practices.
March foreclosure starts were 11% lower from a year earlier but topped 100,000 for the first time since November. Nevada, ground zero in the housing bust, had the biggest month-over-month increase, jumping 153%.
It was followed by Utah, New Jersey, Maryland and North Carolina, topping the 31 total states that had monthly increases in foreclosure starts last month.
