Man, I'm gonna start up the Bad News Report and start it out by saying "Herceg ate all the donuts" (speaking of, Herceg you GOTTA start up the Good News Report up as a blog area on the new board - you do awesome work with that concept) The "good news report" isn't that just a copy and paste of articles found in the news? I thought blogs had to be in my own words? When I have posted articles here it was to alert other traders to interesting information and viewpoints I had come across. Seems like when we discussed this yesterday you said I could not do that in my blog or in the Trading Floor forum....

I think we're talking different things here. You can't copy and paste something's full text in and play it off like it's your article. So for example if I went to CNBC, opened an article, and copied in all the text of it and hit "publish" that's not allowed. That's me posting something that I found as if I wrote it - plagiarism. If I wanted to say something like "I found some good articles out there on the web today, such as [followed by a list of links to say, various websites and articles]. I especially liked the one written by ___ because it highlights ____________, _________, and ________." (just a random crude example) in other words, you gave your opinion and gathered information that you had found valuable. That's your own compilation and you went to the trouble of finding it, giving full credit and posting the links to where you got it, and even said why you liked this and that. That's your own work. That's more than fine. You're giving credit where credit is due. It's the whole copy and pasting of specific text WITHOUT giving the place full credit for it that is the problem. Does that clarify?
