I think it will be funny if everyone that was waiting for a dip to buy misses the dip once again while waiting for a bigger pullback

I think it will be funny if everyone that was waiting for a dip to buy misses the dip once again while waiting for a bigger pullback I don't know. By recent standards, today is the monster dip to buy. I did some dip buying, but still keeping the buying light. I think we see more down this week. I'm thinking mid 1320's.

I think it will be funny if everyone that was waiting for a dip to buy misses the dip once again while waiting for a bigger pullback With 0 confirmation of a reversal, and with BearDaysInARow = 3, I'm thinking it's a key reversal. In this case, it's a reversal from chronic bid, perhaps to "real bid" And we see what happens.

In this case, it's a reversal from chronic bid, perhaps to "real bid" And we see what happens. Real bids should be ok as dip buyers step up. But what worries me is what happens if real bids dry up and chronic bid does not return?

Sold my remaining short positions (ERY, TVIX, SOXS).
I hope I don't end up regretting it. Folio up better than 4% today, so I figure live to trade another day...uh, right?
I'm really counting on the EUR/USD bouncing off of the 50dma and backtesting that bear flag break out, and hopefully [gulp] the market comes with it.
Come on Mr. Hand...don't fail me now!

Uh-oh, fins just fell below a critical interim support (XLF 1442-ish). If they don't recover some ground before the close, then they will likely have considerably farther down to go.

Huh? waht the deal with tvix? where price did you get? I don't know what the deal is, but honestly the whole situation scares me enough that I don't want to play it anymore. I don't understand the inner workings and volatility contract rollovers enough. I got it at $16.40, but I expected way more with a down move like this. I sold it at 17.40 today. Didn't like the action (or lack of)

Too little too late now (I'll still see you in the morning though...right?)Bet He shows up with a big, fat green candle in hand tomorrow morning and an apology. Don't trust Him though, bet that candle's nearly spent by EOD tomorrow. Then He brings a different color candle to Thursday's open.
