IMHO, if one can buy water rights, they will never regret it or go wrong. That will be the new precious commodity in the coming decades. It is in that sh_thole we know of as Africa now I guess...I doubt it will ever approach "precious" status here though (unless the terrorists learn how to disable and destroy the entire water treatment plant infrastructure...which is not inconceiveable if they can hack into it). Read up on what's happening to the auqifers under the dry states like AZ, NM. Pretty grim- it's only a matter of time before they dry up completely. California gets much of its water from out of state. The more you read up (from reliable sources), the more you realize that our own little Africa issues will soon start to hit close to home. True, many parts of this country are still OK. But as other areas run out......

I know individuals in CO and AZ and they definitely have a problem with their water supplies.............living where I do, I could not imagine living somewhere in the U.S. where they tell me when and how much I can run my water...............simply amazing to me.............

Anyone know what caused that little buy spurt there at noon? FAS, which had been lagging most of the morning, shot up almost a buck in about 2-3 mins.

No herc...unfortunately this is where Lt Colonels get groomed for becoming a flag officer no "cadets" there....just alumni like me at the lecture . Located at Ft McNair, Wash DC famous for being where the Army's "Old Guard" is billeted and 150yrs ago for hanging Abraham Lincoln's conspirators....so I gotta be on my best behavior and leave my guns, knives and other assorted weapons at home (at least those which would be caught by metal detectors) www.ndu.edu/nwc/

If Fins continue to strengthen, there will be no pullback today. I think it feels bullish today!

If Fins continue to strengthen, there will be no pullback today. I think it feels bullish today! Yep, they are pumping the banks hard right now to keep everything afloat. If it weren't for real estate sucking wind today (just guessing based on URE down 2% today), FAS would be up huge. BUT....indicies appear to be rolling over right now. Just a little afternoon headfake, I'm sure. It does make one ponder, though....what haven't we priced in (positive) that can keep propelling us higher? I still worry that high oil/gasoline gonna make its mark here soon. Consumers hate high gas prices. Its psychological impact is perhaps even greater than its actual fiscal impact on most households.

DJT says LOD. RUT crumpling under the weight of the commodity thieves too. The dog and pony show is playing at a theater near you.
LCC, DAL 1:24 PM Airline stocks take a tumble as oil prices show strong gains tied to more saber-rattling by Iran. The sector is engulfed in red on worries of higher costs for aviation fuel, led by sharply declining LCC -12.3%, DAL -10.3%, UAL -9.7%, JBLU -8.9%, and ALGT -8.3%. [On the Move] Comment!
