Sentiment gauge - place your votes!!
I made the amount of times you could vote "5"
So for those who have more than 1 account, you can vote for each one... (doesn't look like it worked right, it's not re-adding the box for me to vote again)

My votes
2 for 0% (my IRA and Trading Accounts hold no shorts)
2 for 50-75% (my paper scalp and big cap accounts)

Interesting so far...
I hope we get the bear votes too. If they are voting 0-25% as well, then maybe we are ready for that drop.

There is a rising tide that is lifting all boats right now, and they might never come back down, way too risky to try to second guess

I find this poll a little disturbing, even more than I would have expected.
Where are the bears?

None currently... I'm waiting for FC2 (Flash Crash 2) Who knows... maybe spx 1190 will some day be referred to as "The March 2011 Flash Crash low" Until then...

I voted 0-25% but also in mostly cash in trading account.........that is kinda like being short because the dollar keeps falling..................... In LT accounts the vote would be the same but also holding many longs that I do not trade regardless of mkt................and cash................. GLTA I will tell you that I think we may be near ST top in gold/silver...............We did more business in the first week of Nov this year then the entire month of October and October was our best month of the year......................I will also add that big money is coming out of IRA's and 401K's going into physical precious metals holdings..............people do not seem to care one bit about the penalty and tax ramifications...........................another interesting thing that has started to happen in the last 60 days or so is clients that are holding physical precious metals in IRA's are pulling it out for physical delivery..........this is treated the same as a regular early distribution................there is fear in the air..............warrented or not it's there...........................I still stand by my call in Jan 2010 that gold prints a 1500 close in 2010.....agian this is just my opinion ..........................GLTA

Yeah a lot of that it sounds like - I should've made the poll to say how much of your acct is short and/or cash
Ah well, next time!

Went 85% short in my trading acct yesterday... So far so good. Continued to hold overnight tonight (against my better judgement). 100% cash in my IRA and 401k.
Good luck everyone.

0.00 net short ....
Although, I see a potential for a pull back around the first week of Dec. +/- a few days, should see a nice xmas rally ----> 1250 ? ?
