Didn't see anyone post Mr. Futia's remarks, so here they are:
"Today's range estimate is 1121-34. The ES is headed for 1140 and higher."
Looking at today's action so far, he could very well be right. But then again, it is OPEX....
I've been a Brosin bull the last 2 weeks (though fundamentally I am bearish on our economy for a while still). The only way I differ from him is that I don't think the washout comes today. Sometime mid-week next week (after many shorts have covered as we pass 1131) seems more likely. Then again, The Market will do whatever the hell it pleases. GL all.

VIX has been green all day again so far, but didn't make a new weekly high. Isn't the vix a bad indicator today because of opex and rolling of options?

I'm thinking about closing out my short SPY $113 Oct calls here. Not sure we are going to start tanking as I had kind of assumed today.

Yep no worries - I'm still getting used to picturing how I am and want to be positioned. Going to be a long learning curve I think.
I just toyed with death and destruction - bought some $113 Sept Calls and also some $112 Sept calls. Let's see if they give a nice solid up head fake here.
(in SPY that is...)
