is it really possible INTC miss? The estimates have gone down by 4 cents over 60 days, so they might beat it but it will be about guidance. That and if I can remember them saying about weaker rest of the year. I can't remember when was this.

I buy roasted artichoke from whole paycheck yesterday. Counting the minutes until lunch, worse than watching stoopid stocks.

Based on NYSI you don't want to be overly bullish here, many times 6 weeks is the max before a pullback.. only in april did we see an 8 week run before a pullback and it was a significant pullback.. I think we are near the top s/t here.. Granted we are not over 1000 which is where I would consider the market overbought on a longer term basis.
NYMO still not overbought or oversold..

Agreed, although the past 6 weeks has been defined by largely a slow grind judging by the NYSI - so I would think we will see a strong upmove/blowoff top before pulling back.

Ok back for a bit..........still holding SPY 116's on a tight leash............ Fed speak coming at 1:00 CST .............should get a little action in both directions I would suppose.................I sure hope they temper QE2 talk.....not just for my position but I do not see it as the answer LT................anyway current SPY #'s I am watching are S 116.13 PP 116.43 R 116.57.....................GLTA

i'd be careful ask - i don't think many people see it as any kind of LT answer, in which case the market shouldn't respond as negatively to any QEII reluctance as many of the bears would like to hope
but then again i am one of the few who doesn't at all think the market has been running up for anything QE-related

There havent been back to back green days just gap ups and then fade and rinse and repeat.. This would be more characteristic of a top then a steady uptrend.. Plus coupled with NYSI, I'd say odds do not favor the long side as they did.
