If aapl can break $294.73 with expanding volume we should get a short covering that can possibley push it above $300 today.

I can't say it won't happen (my 1180 prediction not looking all too shabby so far, but still have some work to do)...
but it seems a little overdone and $300 seems unlikely - weren't we just saying yesterday that we didn't think it could get over $290?

Even with the move today, the SPY Oct options are seeing some major squid action today by the looks of it (both calls and puts down).
I'm new to these though, so maybe that's normal for the Friday before opex week.
