Kryptos thanks for adding the .59 part to the XLF pivot in the thread title - meant to send you a PM about that last night. Late last night / early this morning when I tried pulling it up on the site, it was giving me a 'module error' or something like that. Had happened a couple other times on that site - maybe it's when they're in the process of updating Brosin, No problem, thanks for starting the thread today. I always check the title to see if I need to add / change anything when someone else starts it. I also added the PPDT icon.

Ok last post...............from www.optionmonster.com ................GLTA What heavy volume means for goldSeptember 23, 2010 Thu 10:05 AM CT As gold continues its run higher, a sizable option trade is positioning for a quick pullback. The SPDR Gold Shares (GLD) exchange-traded fund largely mirrors the moves of the gold futures, as both push higher from precious metal's record close yesterday but remain below the intraday highs. The GLD trades at $126.37, up fractionally on the day and just below the high of $126.63 set yesterday. The price has climbed by more than 10 percent since the end of July in a steep and steady uptrend. The GLD is a huge institutional holding and the largest component of some of the biggest hedge funds. It is therefore no surprise that the ETF's average option volume is significant, at more than 110,000 contracts a day. That turnover has already exceeded 77,000 this morning, but it is the volume leader that catches our attention. optionMONSTER's systems show that more than 10,000 of the September Quarterly 124 puts traded, 8,670 of them bought in the same second for $0.33. The previous open interest was 3,107, so this was a new opening position. The Quarterlys are used mostly by institutional traders to hedge against potential losses through the end of the quarter, as these options expire on Sept. 30. So while this is very likely a hedge against a long GLD position, it does indicate concern that the fund will fall by more than 2 percent in the next seven days. By: Chris McKhann I do think we will see a pull back in gold near term......................LT to da moooooon ;D............... GLTA

I thought this was interesting. It looks at the ratio of bonds to the SPX. The author interprets it as signalling a strong equity move later this year. blog.chart.ly/bondstock-ratio/I'm not quite sure about it. Is this not a circular argument?
