It's not a short term signal.. I know everyone made fun of it last time but I think it represents an intermediate term inflection point.. Like all signals its not perfect but who knows this could be confirmation from the last ones in Sept. or was it august August Glenn Beck said so so it MUST be true. The stocks I'm watching have basically been in the same few cent range since fifteen minutes after the open. Frustrating!

Yeah definitely - as usual, I didn't expect to have to grab that many; I had sold out of half the position this morning that i had been holding overnight, but instead of closing it all out, i thought it looked better to just buy the contracts back (and some)... We'll see how it goes - I'd really like to close out a good amount before the EOD because it's a fairly large position now

how would that affect the options? or does it not other than the underlying price adjustment

how would that affect the options? or does it not other than the underlying price adjustment It affects the underlying security, obviously, it could put some puts ITM and calls OTM with the price adjustment... still most assume its an efficient marketplace and this should be reflected in the option price.

Only thing I would add is that many times people sell as soon as a stock goes ex div and they qualify...........IMO could be more pronounced because MKT has so many "overbought" signals and other indicators that could make some people to sell once they have locked the divy up......................I am holding some Jan options too.......................GL

So if I understand right, since these are Jan options, they won't really be affected? The underlying (and all options) will all readjust to the new price, and I would only be worried should they be Dec options that would maybe be pushed ITM with the adjustment?
Thanks alot guys
